A meaningful story behind the fun story - all in a colouring book!

Welcome Aboard! The Prairie Lily Adventure story and colouring book is now available.

Join characters Taya and Jaxson on the Lily with Captain Mike and Steward Claire as they cruise the South Saskatchewan River. A story of a trip on The Prairie Lily, this book is filled with fun drawings for young readers to colour.

Steward Claire Mueller was one of our most loved crew members, and who was tragically taken from us in a car accident in 2021. She was planning to complete the artwork for the colouring book that winter. Claire's mom, Joanne Mueller, along with her cousin, Roène Painchaud, took up the challenge. It's our honour to share this book in Claire's memory.

Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Claire Mueller Memorial Bursary at the University of Saskatchewan.

Stay safe on the river - enjoy the Prairie Lily while on board, not in the water!

We’ve had a rough week and we need your help by sharing this post. The river is getting busier with the nice weather and summer. It brings out more people, but not always safely. On Thursday, we had a young man swim within 10 feet of the ship. We also had a boat pulling a tube and a wake board boat drop their passengers directly in our path. We have seadoos try to swipe and splash the windows. Paddle boarders have tried to grab a ride on our side. Inexperienced canoers, kayakers and rowers have cut us off, traveling within feet of the ship. See our 24-inch propellers in picture? The shafts rotate them at 1000-1500 RPM. The bottom of the ship is designed to direct water to them. It will also direct a human THROUGH them! PLEASE – tell your river loving family and friends to enjoy the river far away from The Prairie Lily. You should be meeting them for coffee, not their funeral. Please.
