How it all Began

It’s story time! In the beginning there was one Google Local Guide who enjoyed writing reviews and trying new places with crazy foods. He took all his friends to the best places to eat and shared his pictures and insight with millions of people on Google. After speaking to restaurant owners and foodies across Toronto about the troubles of other platforms he decided there is a better way to connect resturants and foodies. The idea for Schmooze Foods was born! For those of you who do not know “Schmooze” is a Yiddish word meaning an intimate conversation with, so Schmooze + Foods means that we have an intimate conversation with food. We do that by taking pictures, writing reviews of amazing restaurants, sharing articles that you might be interested in, and creating top 10 lists.
