After a number of impactful family-serving charities in Durham Region came together to form CFSD, they partnered with sagecomm to reimagine their shared identity. CFSD needed a modern master brand and sub-brands that honoured the unique individual agencies that contribute to their wide-ranging impact, and reflected a new, unified organization.

The result was a flexible, human-centred brand system, supported by a bilingual website and a streamlined social media presence.

Within six months of launching their new brand, website, and social channels, CFSD reported an increase in client intakes and better quality candidates for employment.

As 2025 winds down, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the year, and on the genuine connections that shaped our work, our community, and our lives. In a world where we’re scrolling more and connecting less, these meaningful moments stand out.

Our sagecomm team is proud to help for Ronald McDonald House SWO in honour of beloved team member Megan McIlmoyl McSweeny and beautiful baby Max! 🧡

When Max was born unexpectedly at 29 weeks, and had to stay in a hospital away from home long after his mom was discharged, his family faced some almost unimaginable complexities.

Fortunately, they were able to find support at Ronald McDonald House Toronto and Ronald McDonald House London – each a welcoming and supportive "home-away-from-home" for families with seriously ill kids.

But space is precious and limited at Ronald McDonald House Charities across the country – often with long waitlists – because so many families need this critical support. Imagine navigating a nightmarish experience, far away from home, sometimes while healing yourself, or worse, not having the means to do so?

It’s something no family should ever have to experience.

A hot cup of coffee. A comfortable bed. A nourishing meal. A playroom for big brothers and sisters. A warm hug on the hardest days.

That’s the promise of Ronald McDonald House.

And it’s why we’re proud to in support of a family we love and all families that need this critical support all across the country!
