Everyone shows the final cut. But my favourite part is what it took to get there. 🤝

For this West Haven campaign, here’s what “the process” actually looked like 👇

📞 Zoom calls and discovery
💡 The pitch
🎙️ Finding the right voiceover artist
✍️ Script drafts, back and forth, until it clicked
✅ Approval
🎨 Storyboards, then a refined storyboard for the client
📅 Locking filming days/locations
🎭 Casting the right actors
🎥 Rolling
💻 Now, refining the edits for approvals.

Standard? Maybe. But when we look back at where we started and see the projects we get to make now, it hits different. 🙏

We genuinely love this part. All of it.

And the most rewarding moment isn’t the premiere. It’s the message that comes weeks later: “we’re getting business from this.” 📈

That’s the whole point. That’s the one that counts.

A little behind-the-scenes truth: the hardest part of filming an interview isn't the filming. 🎬

There's something about a real person, in their own words, that no script can touch. You see them, you understand them, you feel like you know them a little. For a brand, that's one of the truest ways to connect with people, and for people to connect back. 🤝

We'll be honest: an interview video isn't the kind of ad someone clicks and instantly buys from. It works slower and deeper. It builds the trust that makes someone choose you when they're ready.

Now, the part nobody sees. 👀 You notice the lighting and the sound, and we put real care into both. But the video is actually made long before the camera turns on.

✍️ So much of our preproduction goes into crafting questions that bring out the answers that tell the story. Nobody ever sees that work, and it's the most important part of the project.

📞 Before anyone sits down, we've already met on a Zoom or phone call, scouted the location, and learned their story well enough to have a real conversation, not a scripted Q&A. Small, calm sets, because people do their best work when they forget the camera is there.

💬 And being on camera isn't for everyone. That's completely fine. We've made the mistake of forcing it before, and it shows in every frame. We learned from it.

🎙️ Sometimes the right call is no camera at all. We sit down with a client, just a couple of microphones, have a real conversation, and build the visuals over top. Their story, their voice, no camera required.

⏱️ We've also built our process around your time. All the hours land on our side. Working with White Wolf Homes on their brand film went exactly that way. Walk in, sit down, film, get back to your day. A full day of our prep for an hour of yours.

The camera part is quick. The care behind it is not. ✨
