Although I did start my weight loss journey, around 440 pounds (very close to Rick Ross on the left), I am down to 320-330 depending on if I am weight lifting, or cardio that week.
I want to get to the RIGHT picture, where Rick Ross lost a considerable amount of fat and put on lean muscle tissue.
God grant me the will to continue. 🙂 ❤
5 Best Rick Ross Weight Loss Tips
1. Start Today
You do not need to have a seizure to get on a program to get fit. If you know that you are overweight now, start now before any medical emergencies occur.
The truth is that 70 percent of American adults are overweight, so needing to lose weight is nothing new. The point is to start. Do not wait for a seizure or other reasons. If you are overweight, get determined, get focused, and start now day one.
2. Be Willing to Change
You can change your diet and exercise program. Believe it or not, you do not have to be a rock star to transform your body from fat to fit. But, you do need to switch to a healthy lifestyle.
You do not need a fad diet or appetite suppressants. Instead, use these simple elements of a healthier lifestyle and experience the same results as Rick Ross’s weight loss program. The reason is that like every other human being on the planet; your body needs two critical components to thrive – high-quality good food (as opposed to fast food) and movement (instead of sitting all day)
Stop eating heavy meals late at night time
Add more fresh vegetables
Healthy snacks like giant fruit plates, such as berries or pears (Rick Ross’s favorite)
Real foods
Remove processed foods
Drink water, not binge drinking soda or vodka,
Start walking, and
A beginner deadlift program
Voila, you will lose the extra weight.
This weight loss plan of attack works every time. Rick Ross lost 75 pounds of weight. You can lose 75 pounds, and you will not be the first and not be the last.
But it is time for you to take action. If you make no change and keep eating the same foods and doing the same workout sitting on your couch, you will get the same results.
You need to change up your diet and exercise program. You can do it.
3. Gradual Fat Loss is Better than Rapid
Lose weight slowly; this is the best path to follow. Gradual weight loss is a vital component of the Rick Ross weight loss diet plan. There is no need to starve to lose weight.
Eat real food, healthy food, and create a moderate caloric deficit. You can start exercising with a simple walk every day. Slow weight loss is the best and most successful path to follow.
4. Plan your Workouts and Meals
If you have a personal chef, great; otherwise, you have to come up with some meals you like to eat and prepare.
Think natural and straightforward healthy foods.
For example, try orange, rice, and egg omelet.
Or spinach, potatoes, and salmon.
Another easy option is a whole-grain turkey or tofu sandwich.
Cut out the heavily processed foods, or as Rick did, only eat them at a specific time of day. You have to have a lot of willpower to do that. But that might work for you.
Be conscious and record what your meals are for at least a week. Get an idea of what you are feeding yourself.
How are you fueling your body?
Take it easy, come up with some sample meals for yourself and stick with it.
Watch the magic happen.
5. Have Fun
Find the workouts and foods that you enjoy. Rick Ross discovered the incredible benefits of deadlifts and push-ups.
Like Rick Ross, you need to enjoy your weight loss journey. If you accept the idea of gradual weight loss and muscle gain, you will have fun.
The goal is to lose weight and get fit, easily and comfortably. And there is no reason you cannot treat yourself to some pizza or lemon pepper wings once in a while!
Last But Not Least, Add Weight Training
