Recent Work Alert: Canada’s Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance

After helping Roger Neilson Children's Hospice reimagine their brand, we were thrilled to be hired by a close-knit team of leaders in Canadian pediatric palliative care. They had a big question: How do we bring people together, across provinces, professions, systems, and life experiences, to enhance palliative care for every child in Canada?

Our work started with a name:
Canada’s Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance.
Then a tagline:
Care for Every Short Life.

From there, we built the foundation, encompassing brand identity, messaging, visual standards, social media content, educational tools, and a comprehensive communications toolkit designed to support connection and collaboration nationwide.

Huge thanks to Kira Goodman, Jessica Pancoe, Mattie Wright and the entire team at Canada’s Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance for trusting us with such meaningful work.

There are too many "us-too" brands in the market when being an "us-only" brand is the way to get noticed and succeed.

It is always best to be a category of one in the minds of your audiences. Strive to find your difference. Discover a niche that you can claim and own.

Be relentless in articulating what sets your organization apart from others.

Be clear about how you address specific needs or help a particular segment of the population in healthcare or social causes. Find the stories that bring your differences to life.

The old saying, "You can't be everything to everybody," is fundamentally connected to the concept of unique value and differentiated positioning in branding.
