Know When to Break Free!!!

Sometimes, the very hand that helps you can also hold you back. “Bite the finger that feeds you if the finger is down your throat, suffocating you.”

In employment, business, and professional growth—especially for immigrants building their path in a new environment—it’s essential to recognize when help TRANSFORMS into CONTROL. Support should empower, not enslave. Loyalty to those who assist you is admirable, but never at the expense of your growth, freedom, aspirations or Life.

In digital media, film and digital marketing, we often rely on partnerships and collaborations. While these relationships are crucial, ensure they are mutually beneficial, not exploitative. Always prioritize personal and professional growth over blind loyalty to systems or people that limit your potential.

Helping others should come with the intention of building them up—not keeping them dependent. Similarly, as professionals, we must be vigilant and willing to step away when help becomes a means of control.

Is the digital media and film industry men-focused? Historically, the answer has often been yes. But the tide is changing, and 2025 will be a year of remarkable growth for women in this field.

In my role as a facilitator, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 75 women who are deeply passionate about digital media and film. Their creativity, drive, and eagerness to excel prove one thing: women are not just ready—they’re poised to redefine the future of this industry.

For immigrants and professionals seeking to break into this space, this is a time for growth and opportunity. Women bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a collaborative spirit that is essential for the evolution of digital media and marketing. Employment opportunities are expanding, and businesses that embrace inclusivity will thrive.

The digital world needs balance, diversity, and professionalism, and women are stepping up to lead with resilience and creativity.

The goal of ELIKAN PRO ACADEMY'S VIDEO EDITING Bootcamp is to give participants the knowledge and abilities necessary to produce professional videos. This entire course is intended for total beginners.

By enrolling in this course, you'll learn everything there is to know about video editing and everything else related to producing great videos.
