One thing about the 2000s, the music still knows how to get people moving.

☁️NO SLEEP EVENTS☁️ brought back Jiggy: A Y2K Hip-Hop Party and Vancouver clearly still had the moves.

The music was right, the crowd was ready and the nostalgia was doing exactly what it needed to do

At some point, having your own place is supposed to become part of “adulting.”

The province is moving to year-round Pacific Time, meaning the clocks won’t be turned back this November.

B.C. will remain at UTC−7 throughout the year, now using Pacific Time (PCT)

And for Vancouver? That means those darker winter afternoons won’t arrive quite as early as they used to. 🌅

British Colombia Premier,
David Eby is proposing higher provincial income taxes for B.C.’s highest earners, with the additional revenue aimed at supporting healthcare and other public services.

The proposed changes would target residents earning above certain income thresholds and could generate an estimated $1 billion annually for the province.

With B.C.’s provincial election just around the corner, the question becomes even more relevant: Should B.C.’s highest earners pay more to help fund healthcare? Or is there a better way to fund the province’s healthcare system?
