Behind the scenes at M1. A studio where imagination gets room to move is more than a nice-to-have, it's how we show up as a true full-service partner. When strategy, brand, video, and web all happen under one roof.

That's the kind of environment that turns projects into long-term partnerships. Take a look inside.

Meet John, Web Developer at M1 Agency.

John architects high-performance websites, builds automated data pipelines that turn raw information into live analytics dashboards, and leads the integration of AI agents into our agency workflows — helping M1 stay at the leading edge of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

What sets John apart isn't just his technical range. It's his approach to problems. He describes it well himself: we can't always control the roadblocks a project throws at us, but we can take total ownership of how we respond. That mindset shows in his work: calm, forward-moving, and always improving. That mindset shows in everything he builds.

Glad to have you on the team, John. 🙌

Our design for Maa‑nulth Treaty Society's website drew directly from their principles: respect for all things and the belief that everything is connected. We wove in imagery and video we've produced with several of the Nations, building a digital space that reflects their collective journey while honouring each Nation's individual autonomy.

A project like this is a reminder of why we do this work: real partnership means designing with a community. Visit the website at maanulth.ca.

When Albertans formed their own co-operatives to take control of their energy future, they built something worth standing behind. ACE is that story in action.

We're proud to have developed a full campaign for Alberta Co-operative Energy, built to drive awareness, grow their reach, and most importantly, move people to act. From top-of-funnel storytelling to lower-funnel conversion, every element was designed around one clear truth: Make the good choice, choose Ace.

We were honoured to design the displays for the 15th anniversary celebration of the Maa-nulth Treaty, a significant milestone for five distinct Nations and for reconciliation in British Columbia.

On April 1, 2011, the Maa-nulth First Nations stepped into a new era of self-government. Fifteen years later, that treaty continues to shape and strengthen their governments, cultures, and economies.

Our role was to help tell that story, through photography, maps, and a carefully curated timeline that gave the history the presence it deserves.

We're grateful for the trust placed in our team to contribute to a moment this significant.

Congratulations to the Maa-nulth First Nations and the Maa-nulth Treaty Society.

Our team had the honour of filming alongside the Tsawout First Nation as they conducted their Dungeness crab surveys around Sidney and James Island.

These surveys are part of Tsawout's Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas initiative, and track population trends, size distributions, and habitat conditions to support sustainable harvesting practices. It is meticulous, ongoing, and deeply purposeful work rooted in a relationship with the land and sea that spans generations.

Being on location to document moments like this is one of the most meaningful parts of our work. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of being invited to work alongside a growing number of Indigenous communities across BC - capturing the work, the people, and the stories deserving to be seen and heard.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from Pacific Design Academy to the M1 Agency office.

During the visit our team shared how branding, creative strategy, and storytelling come together in a real agency environment, and the students brought a level of curiosity and perspective that energized the room. These are exactly the kinds of exchanges that keep the industry moving forward.

Thank you to the Pacific Design Academy team for the visit. We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to their knowledge building.

Some marketing briefs ask you to sell a product. Others ask you to help people see the world differently. 🤍

We're proud to have developed a campaign for Garth Homer Society, a Victoria organization that has spent 50 years creating the conditions for people with developmental disabilities to build real lives, real independence, and a genuine place in their community.

Our work brought that mission to life through inspirational video storytelling, real success stories from real people. All paired with a campaign landing page designed to drive engagement and deepen community support. Because an organization this meaningful deserves marketing that matches its impact.

We are proud to announce a new partnership with Power to Give.

Power to Give is a Canadian foundation that brings capable people close to do meaningful work — and helps move it forward. They find charities aligned with their givers’ priorities, build long-term relationships with them, and stay close to the work as those organizations grow.

Built on 25 years of firsthand experience in the charitable sector, their approach is rooted in relationships, not transactions. Since 2018, the PTG network has supported more than 60 charities and 10 community projects across Canada.

We’ll be working alongside them on their campaigns — bringing thoughtful, intentional work to a team doing the same.

Looking forward to what’s ahead.
