Spent the morning in a room full with other moms in business. As an introvert, most days I'm comfortable at my desk but this is your reminder that real conversations with real people still hit different. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ©΅

A peek at round 1 revisions before this one heads into development.

The design phase is where a lot of work happens... now it's just refining the details until it feels right

Then off to development!!

Your website has been on the list so long that it's basically part of the furniture.

Not because you don't care, you probably should have launched months ago.

Maybe years ago. But you're busy with clients, and it keeps getting bumped.

The copy, the structure, the design decisions, the tech, the accessibility piece, the privacy forms, the migration.

That's the part I take off your plate.

You bring the vision for where it's going. I handle the strategy, the writing support, the design, the build, and the details you shouldn't have to think about.

Beautiful, inclusive, and built to help the right people find you. Done.

DM me if you want to know what the process actually looks like.

Your website might look "okay" but might not be working for you.

Does your website answer these 3 simple questions?

- "Am I in the right place?"
You need to immediately tell someone what you do and who/how you help.

- "Can I trust this?"
Do you look legit? Testimonials... credentials... anything??

- "What do I do next?"
A clear call to action.. needs to be obvious and low friction

Be clear. Be real. And make it obvious.

We need to answer some important questions before building any logo or website. These questions aren't about fonts, layouts, or colours.

You might wonder why? It's because the answer gives us the foundation for everything moving forward.

They shape the tone and flow. Every decision that makes your website feel like yours instead of a template.

Want to see what that process looks like for your practice?

A wellness practitioner came to me last year with a website that had been done for free. On paper, that sounds like a great deal. In practice, it was a law firm template with stock photos of boardrooms, services listed in lorem ipsum, and leftover legal jargon scattered through the pages.

Nothing about it reflected the thoughtful, grounded work they were doing with their clients.

And that's the hidden cost of free.

For therapy and wellness practices, your website is often the very first interaction someone has with you. Before the consultation call, before the intake form, before any of it.

If that first impression feels generic or disconnected from what you actually offer, the people who need your work the most won't stay long enough to find out what you do.

This practitioner's site is unrecognizable now. It feels like their practice, intentional, built for the people they serve.

If your website feels like it belongs to a different business entirely, I'd love to hear about it. Send me your URL, and I'll share my honest first impression.

Someone lands on your website from a Facebook ad.

They have *maybe* 5 seconds before they bounce.

Can your site answer:

1. "Am I in the right place?"
Does your headline immediately tell them what you do and who it's for?

2. "Can I trust this?"
Is there proof other people have worked with you and been happy?

3. "What do I do next?"
Is the next step obvious and low-friction?

If any of those are unclear, your ad budget is just paying for people to leave faster.

Planning to run ads soon? Message me, I can do a quick audit before you spend anything.
