Well, this absolutely made our day 🥹💛

We’ve had such a wonderful time working alongside Silvia & the S-Curve Consulting team — from digging into the brand and website, to strengthening their social presence, and being there for all the li’l (and big!) communications q’s that come up along the way.

Receiving a review like this means an awful lot.

One of our favourite parts of this work is getting to really know the people and businesses behind the brands we support. The best communications work doesn’t happen by dropping in, making something pretty, and disappearing… it comes from listening, collaborating, asking the right questions, understanding the bigger picture, and building something that actually ~fits~ proper.

Silvia, thank you for trusting our tiny-but-mighty team with S-Curve, and for taking the time to write such incredibly kind words.

We’re very lucky to have you in our Sun Dog community ☀️🫶

We know we’ve been MIA across social media for a few weeks – like most folks, summer has stumbled into our ever-busy lives and some things just take priority!

Between designing logos, writing web copy, and managing others’ social media profiles, ensuring we get a ‘lil taste of that fleeting Yukon summer was, well… non-negotiable. Here’s to hoping this soggy little stretch we’ve been having passes soon!

Will we be more active on social media for the weeks to come? Probably not. Are we here to support you with all your communications needs? Absolutely!

Send us a DM or email [email protected] if you’re looking for some comms support this summer. Sliding scale prices are always in effect 😊 (especially for our beloved NGO and small biz communities)

Summer moves fast.

The markets are full, patios are busy, visitors are wandering, locals are sharing their favourite finds, and the community starts feeling extra alive again.

For small businesses, artists, makers, nonprofits, and community organizations, this is such an important season to show up clearly. Not perfectly. Not constantly. And not in a way that feels forced.

Just clearly enough that people know who you are, what you offer, where to find you, and why they should care.

Because when community is already paying attention, good communication helps people remember you.

We’re so thrilled that Fireweed Community Market season is upon us! One of our favourite parts about Yukon summers is finally having days like this again that revolve entirely around community.

We spent the afternoon wandering through the park, catching up with familiar faces, meeting local business owners in person for the first time, and leaving with far more goodies than originally planned (as always 🤭)

A few highlights: freeze-dried bolognese (with Yukon-raised beef and pork) + dandelion (!!!) mustard, a mandatory stop at (of course, how can one resist), the BEST smelling shampoo bar from (for oily hair, yasss!), cute and delish mango macarons from , a great visit with our friend over at , and some gorgeous cilantro from for the greenhouse 🌱

Market days like this are such an important reminder that local businesses are much more than just products; they’re the incredible people behind them that showcase interwoven relationships, delightful conversations, and inspiring stories which all fuel the ever-supportive community we are lucky to have.

Already excited to go back next week 🥲🥲

A lotta people think being “taken seriously” means sounding more “professional” online.

Friendly reminder: profesh doesn’t have to mean STIFF.

People usually connect wayyy more with warmth and character than perfectly curated language.

You don’t need to flatten your voice, over-polish every sentence, or hide the OOMPH that makes people wanna connect with you from the get go.

Folks wanna know who they’re dealing with. They want *real talk*, not corporate garb.

Don’t forget: the strongest content is the kinda stuff that feels genuine for realz.

Hard truth? People can usually tell immediately when something was written or “designed” by AI.

Not because people are anti-technology. And not because AI tools can’t be useful… they absolutely can. But because most folks are deeply tuned into authenticity.

People notice when writing sounds generic. When graphics look mass-produced. When businesses stop sounding like actual humans.

And truthfully, Yukoners tend to reject “AI slop” faster than anywhere else. Especially when there are already so many talented local artists, designers, photographers, writers, and creatives doing meaningful work rooted in lived experience and a real understanding of our communities.

Tools can support creativity… but they shouldn’t replace perspective, personality, creative process, or human connection. That part still matters. A lot.

This is what clarity looks like on the other side.

Working with clients like means more than just “posting content.” It’s strategy, structure, and showing up consistently with purpose.

From rebrand → to ongoing social media management; this is what full-spectrum communications work actually looks like in practice.

Fast, adaptable, transparent… and always grounded in making sure you know what’s happening and why.

That’s the goal. Every time.

If you’ve been feeling like your marketing is all over the place or not quite landing, there’s usually a reason — and it’s fixable.

📩 DM us if you want to map it out.

More content isn’t always the answer.

Usually, the answer is clearer content.

If your audience can’t quickly tell what you do, who it’s for, and why it matters, posting more won’t solve it.

Clear messaging will.
