Photos for the feed! I (Janelle 👋) had so much fun covering .zuk’s Old Girls Club event at !

The room was full of talented, intelligent women who were able to find connection, share a glass of wine, and shop around! This was such an easy networking event to attend and even though I was working, I managed to make new connections with some wonderful women! (And see faves like 😉)

Shoutout to Leanne for giving a mini lecture on the importance of dressing well and finding a style that works for YOU! I cannot sing enough praises of her store and the comfortable, professional pieces I have invested in since going back to my full time job. 17/10 experience! ⭐️

AND I should note, all proceeds from the registration went to the 🫶

Introducing: Aislinn of With You Postpartum 🌸

Aislinn is a one-of-a-kind postpartum doula and an IBCLC certified lactation consultant. I (Janelle) met her irl at a networking event in May and when we introduced each other to the group, she told me she had been following me since my Alice & Flore days! So fun!

She came to me needing updated branding photos for a new website that she's working on and her direction was clear: she wanted her photos to reflect her personality, her expertise and the expectation that you can have when she comes into her home. I think that by working in a neutral space, but using colourful pops of colour in her outfits, we were able to do just that! (Shoutout to for helping source some pieces!)

Also, back it up, a postpartum doula!?
Are you kidding me! I had no idea that existed when we had our kids and now that I know, I will be booking Aislinn IMMEDIATELY should we have more kids!

She is kind, has a quick wit and a delicious Irish accent that I could listen to all day!

In August, we had the opportunity to take a trip to Disney World and that place never ceases to amaze us.

Imagine - a man drew a picture of a mouse and now the Walt Disney Company is a global operation consisting of entertainment, news, cruises, theme parks, and so much more!

It really shows that we can do ANYTHING. Our dreams can be made reality. Our seemingly little moves today can be paving the way for something more than we ever imagined.

This post is not groundbreaking.

You could find these steps anywhere online right now.

I will even say that most new clients who come to us, already have steps 1-3 down, they just might need some tweaking, or oftentimes we can provide additional input to what's been put in place.

It's step four when businesses usually contact us.

It's step four when a friend slides into our DMs asking for feedback on a post or an idea they have.

Developing a content strategy.

For us, this is where the fun happens.

Once we've come up with ideas, looked at what's working with other similar businesses in the market, and executed a plan that's unique to your brand and business for the coming month or so, we get to see what works, look back and adjust.

We know what those stats in the app mean. We see what's working and what's not regarding your content. From there, we have the expertise and knowledge to adjust and keep going.

Social media IS a game, and it can be fun to play when we drop the stress and enjoy the creativity and authenticity behind our brands and business.
