Spend the day with me as the founder of a digital marketing agency, and a community of women in business.

One thing I love about the work we do, is that every day is different. I’m a creative person who usually has a million projects on the gom so I’m constantly building things that keep me on my toes.

👩🏾‍💻 Both Strategic Charm (agency) an Hustle + Charm (community) allow me to flex my creative muscles, but the agency provides me with structure and stability, while the community gives me the opportunity to dive deeper into my passion for connection and creating spaces where women and non-binary entrepreneurs can discovery, grow, and thrive.

All in all it was a productive day, and I’m thankful to have created a job where on a random Wednesday I can go from baking cookies with Adobe Acrobat, to sending a million emails while planning a business retreat, to hosting an intimate gathering about team development, AND ending the night watching Heated Rivalry for the 12th time 😂 🏒

Last week, I had the chance to attend a Futurpreneur event and it was such a great reminder of how much I love being in rooms with other entrepreneurs. ✨

I got to see familiar faces, make some new connections, and soak up the energy of the community.

As someone who spends a LOT of time hosting events through Hustle + Charm, I have to say… I really love being an attendee, too. 😂 Sometimes it’s nice to just show up, connect, learn, and enjoy the experience without being the one running the room.

Fall is a great time to clean house, and your marketing could probably use it, too.

Before you add another trend, platform or content idea to your strategy, take a minute to look at what’s already there.

A few things to consider:

🤔 What are you posting that isn’t serving your goals? If you’re creating content just because you feel like you should be posting, it might be time to rethink it.
🤔 What should you stop doing? Not every tactic, trend or platform deserves a permanent place in your strategy. If it’s not working, you don’t have to keep doing it.
🤔 What should you double down on? Look at the content that’s getting attention, building trust or driving action, and do more of that.

A good marketing strategy isn’t always about doing more. It’s about being intentional about what’s worth your time.

Consider this your September marketing reset. 🍁

Grateful to have been invited to this special Futurpreneur gathering in Winnipeg, celebrating 30 years of impact. It was inspiring to hear from a panel of founders and leaders, many of whom are building businesses right here in Manitoba that I’ve had the privilege to work with or admire from afar.

As someone who is deeply passionate about local entrepreneurship, conversations like these are a reminder that when we share knowledge, open doors, and support one another, we create stronger communities and a brighter future for the next generation of founders. 💚

✨ New Gadgets Alert ✨

It was time to upgrade some of our video production equipment, buuuuuuut some of our new toys arrived too late to try them out for today’s shoot with and ☹️

Who knew a gimbal couldn’t be setup for the first time in 10 minutes? 🤷🏾‍♀️😬

Luckily, we didn’t end up needing them for today, but we’re soooooo excited to whip them out for our next content shoot 🤩
