Yo bro Gency ❤️ I just wanted to reach out and tell you how proud I am of you and everything you’ve accomplished. Seeing you get signed and watching the connections you’re making with African artists really makes me happy. You’re moving in the right direction, and I see the people you’re connected with—artists like P-Son, Innoss’B, and others who have a serious presence in Africa. That’s big, bro. Keep going and keep building. I’m proud to call you my cousin.
I also wanted to fill you in on what I’ve been doing with my music. I’m Zaire Huruku, an American artist based in Minnesota. I’ve been building my career for years, creating Afro-Hip-Hop and mixing Lingala, French, Swahili, and English together. That combination is a big part of my sound and the new wave I’m trying to bring to the world.
I’m working on some new music right now, and honestly, I believe the next song I’m working on can go worldwide. I’m also in the process of potentially getting signed to Terror Squad, the label owned by Fat Joe. I’m not trying to brag or prove anything—I’m just telling you what I’m working toward and where my career is heading.
I could show you proof of some of the conversations and connections I’ve made, but I’ve learned to respect private conversations, so I’m keeping that stuff private. You’re family, so I just wanted you to know what’s happening with me.
I would love for us to connect creatively too. You’re building your side in Africa, I’m building mine here in America, and I feel like we could make something powerful together. Africa and America connecting through our music—that’s the kind of movement I want to be part of.
Much love and respect, bro. Keep winning. I’m proud of you. ❤️🌍🎶
