I remember when I worked in the bank, I used to dread Mondays.
Alarm rings.
Traffic waiting.
Targets staring.
That heavy feeling in your chest like the week is already chasing you.
“It’s that day again.”
But here’s what I didn’t understand then…
Monday is not against you.
It is an empty cheque.
And the way you show up today will determine what gets written on it.
So don’t fight it.
Don’t complain your way into it.
Don’t drag your feet like life is dragging you.
Step into today like someone who knows something good is about to begin.
As you step out this morning, carry intention.
Carry courage.
Carry discipline.
This could be the week that shifts everything.
Not by luck.
But by the version of you that shows up.

May your week be blessed.

Monday is not the enemy. It is a reset.
Show up even when motivation is missing. Discipline never lies.
This week, move with intention. Your future self is watching.

Take care of yourself first.
This life no get duplicate.

When the generator goes off, everybody quickly unplugs their charger and starts looking for another source of light.

Nobody remembers the gen itself. That’s how life is. people will always collect from you, but the moment you run down, they will move on to the next source.

So protect your own energy. Rest when you need to. Eat well. Pray well. Invest in your peace of mind. Because if you break down, life will continue for others, but you’ll be the one left empty.

It's the weekend! Have fun.

ONCE UPON A TIME, MONDAYS USED TO SCATTER MY MOOD.

I won’t lie to you, there was a time I used to dread Mondays. Back then when I worked in the bank, Monday felt like punishment.

The alarm clock would ring, and my heart would sink. I would start thinking of the heap and bundles of money to count in the bulk room. There was nothing like cashless policy then. Endless queues, customers shouting… Monday felt like a war zone.

But you see, one lesson life taught me is this: it’s the little things that change how you see the week.

A little gratitude.
A little courage.
A little determination.
A little hope.

It doesn’t take a mountain of strength to win; sometimes it’s just a little step in the right direction.

So this Monday morning, don’t overwhelm yourself with the whole week’s worries. Take it small-small.

Before you know it, that “little” will gather and become plenty.

My people, don’t fear Mondays. Use today to set the tone for the victory you want to see this week.

This Monday, may your little efforts open big doors for you.

Say Amen biko.

Meanwhile can you spot me in the picture?🤣

People are fighting silent battles, so be the reason someone smiles today because everywhere you turn in this country, you see it, frustration written on people’s faces.

Transport fare has doubled, food price no dey smile, and even the most hardworking people dey whisper under their breath, “How will I survive today?”

But you know one thing? In the middle of all this wahala, you and I can still be somebody’s reason to smile.

That ₦500 airtime you dash someone, that “how are you holding up?” text, that little bag of rice you share, that seat you give up in a bus, it might not change the economy, but it can change somebody’s day.

Nigeria is bleeding, yes. But imagine if we all choose to be each other’s bandage.

Imagine if instead of pouring more anger, we poured kindness. One smile at a time, one helping hand at a time , light will begin to push back the darkness.

You don’t need to be rich before you help. Sometimes, just listening to someone’s story without judgment is help.

Just cracking a joke and making a tired soul laugh is help. Just praying for a friend who has no strength left is help.

The truth is, we can’t control everything happening around us. But we can control how we treat people.

And if we decide that everyone we meet will leave a little lighter than they came, we’d be changing Nigeria in our own little way.

So today, don’t just chase survival. Be someone’s safe space. Be someone’s reminder that good people still exist. Be someone’s reason to believe in hope again.

Who are you making happy today? Think!

May all those hindering your progress be moved to Sambisa🫢🤭. Amen

Chasing your dream in Nigeria is war.

Because here, dreams are expensive.

You want to start a business? NEPA will test your patience.

You want to save? Inflation will humble you.

You want to travel? Visa wahala will remind you that this life no balance.

So most people just wait.

They say, “When I hammer, I’ll start.”
“When I get capital, I’ll launch.”
“When the government changes, I’ll pursue it.”

But let me tell you a hard truth, Nigeria will not suddenly get easier.

If you keep waiting, your dream will expire like Agege bread in hot sun.

I once knew a guy who always said he wanted to open his own restaurant.

That was 2014, today, he still talks about it. Only difference is, his mates that started small are now running chains of restaurants.

Dreams don’t respect your excuses.

They don’t care if dollar is high, if rent is crazy, or if politicians are fighting.
Dreams only bow to action.

So my question to you is this,
Will you keep waiting for Nigeria to change…
or will you change your own story?

Abeg, I dey road now. Make I go find money.

Today, I hit the gym with my friend, and we had an amazing time sweating, laughing, and challenging ourselves through each rep.

Ladies, exercise is not just about looking good in your 30s, 40s, or even 50s. It’s about preparing your body for the years ahead.

When you’re older, you want to be able to walk without pain, climb stairs without gasping for breath, and play with your grandchildren without needing to catch your breath.

Strength today equals freedom tomorrow.
Flexibility now translates to mobility in the future.
Discipline today leads to confidence forever.

Don’t wait until old age to wish you had started. Begin now. Work out, move your body, and take care of your health. Your future self will thank you.

To every woman reading this, make fitness a lifestyle, not an option.
