For years, many people in Meta didn't even know Chenam existed. Today, it's a name people can't stop talking about and it all started with agriculture.

HRH the Fon of Chenam Village was a farmer long before he became a Fon. That's not a small detail, it's the foundation of everything you're about to see. Today, he's growing Dragon Fruit, a fruit rarely seen in Cameroon, mostly imported and sold in Douala. Now it's growing right here in Meta soil, thanks to one man who refused to believe that development only happens somewhere else.

His message has always been simple: stop copying other regions. Understand your own soil, and it will give you back more than you expect.

And it has. Families in Chenam now earn from this farm. Buyers travel from across Cameroon and beyond just to get their hands on what's grown here. Researchers, journalists, and visitors now find their way to a village they once overlooked.

Behind it all is a Fon known for his character respectful, focused, a man who leads by example rather than by title alone. He recently celebrated his civil status wedding, a moment that brought even more eyes to Chenam and to him.

But here's the thing, Dragon Fruit is just one part of what he's built. He has more than that. Working alongside his Dream Team LTD, he's been quietly developing farm after farm across his land and what you've seen so far is only the opening chapter.

KAREEN & ROLAND - THE TRADITIONAL WEDDING 2026 | PART 2🎉

The Palace of Chomba Village opened the doors, and the celebration continued! 💍

From the moment the Guneku family entered, to the Fon and his Nobles taking their place, to Prof. Roland Teboh walking in with that calm, proud smile while his Queen watched him from behind, already smiling too 😍 this reception was one for the books.

Princess Kareen walked in radiant, no longer just a bride, but a true Meta Woman, welcomed into the very family that built Guneku village. 👑

The music. The money spray. The full cow gift. The Chomba traditional rhythms. And when the Princess herself hit the dance floor? The hall could not hold itself money was literally raining! 💃🔥 Even the Young Fon joined in and turned up the energy.

By the time Skelewo took over the palace, everybody family, friends, royalty was on their feet. 🕺

A night of love, culture, and pure celebration between Guneku and Chomba. 🤍

Everyone wants to talk about "a princess got married" but let us tell the real story first.

Chomba has given one of her own daughters to NJINIGUM QUARTER one of the very first quarters that built Guneku Village. This is bigger than an ordinary wedding. Dr. Roland humble, low-profile, but a man who has spent years quietly building Academy and Development across the entire Meta clan has today become a Prince of Chomba.

And then the Fon of Chomba himself walked in. Twenty-four years old. Yet every single Meta child standing on that ground felt it the kind of respect, the kind of reverence, that has nothing to do with age at all. It is tradition. It is blood. It is the weight passed from ancestor to ancestor, settling on a young man's shoulders as though he had carried it since before he was born. We all stood there watching a king not counting his years, only counting the respect he commands.
