The population of Santa in the North West Region is set to benefit from a major free health outreach program scheduled to take place from the 10th to the 12th of June 2026 at the Santa District Hospital.
Organized under the banner of the Santa Medical Mission 2026, the community health campaign is spearheaded by the Michael and Mauritia Patcha Foundation in collaboration with the Bon Martha Foundation, with volunteer support from Hamani Higher Institute of Learning.
The three-day medical mission is expected to provide a wide range of healthcare services to hundreds of inhabitants within Santa and neighbouring communities. Medical experts and volunteers will offer consultations in adult primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, gynecology, urology, and cardiology.
The outreach will also feature screening and diagnostic services including laboratory testing, ultrasound examinations, prostate screening, as well as blood pressure and ECG checks.
According to organizers, surgical and clinical services such as minor surgeries, dental care, eye care, and physiotherapy will equally be available to the public free of charge.
Mental health support, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, health education, pharmacy services, and telemedicine have also been included in the program to ensure holistic community healthcare delivery.
The initiative is aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services while promoting preventive medicine and community wellbeing in Santa Subdivision.
The Santa Medical Mission 2026 will run daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and inhabitants have been encouraged to come along with any previous medical records for proper follow-up and consultation.
Together, we care. Together, we make a difference.
