"I Need a job" sounds more like a beautiful complain 💔

Do you need clarity first or I am mistaking?

Half the world needs a job.

Needing something changes nothing.

The real questions are:

📌 What specific job?

📌 Doing what exactly?

📌 Earning how much in XAF?

📌 By what date?

📌 And what are you doing today to get it?

If you cannot answer all five questions, you don't have a goal. You have a wish.

Will you complain today or you'd be realistic?

And today… I’m giving myself full permission to celebrate. 😅

356 pages read, but it’s not about the number.

It’s about who I’ve become through them.

I showed up when I could have skipped.

I chose consistency over excuses.

I kept going when my mind whispered, “It’s okay to quit.”

And honestly… it feels amazing. I’m smiling to myself just thinking about it. 😄

For a long time, finishing things wasn’t my strength.

Starting was easy. Excited. Full of energy.
But following through was always a dream.

Not this time...

Page by page, chapter by chapter, I’m seeing the shift:

I am becoming someone who follows through.

I am becoming someone who keeps promises to myself.

I am becoming someone whose actions quietly shape growth.

And as I reflected on today’s reading, I realized something powerful:

My daily habits quietly influence my child more than my words ever could.

The consistency I build and the way I handle responsibility become a living example.

The habits I protect ripple outward, shaping everyone around me.

I felt humbled knowing that every choice leaves an impression.

I felt inspired realizing disciplined living is a gift I give to others.

So here’s my plan for moving forward, I will:

📖 Keep showing up to read and reflect daily.

⚙️ Turn ideas into practice, not just admiration.

⏳ Honor the small commitments I make to myself.

Because self-discipline is not a one-time effort...

It’s a quiet rhythm of small promises kept repeatedly.

It's a vote for the impact and influence you want to get.

So yes… today I cheer. Today I celebrate this checkpoint! 🎉

One more chapter to go.

What’s one small action you’ve kept recently that makes you proud of yourself?

Many things glitter, but I discovered the true gold is personal development. 💰

A challenge is called a challenge because it stretches you beyond comfort, beyond emotion.

That’s why I’ve been showing up from Day 1 to 12.

Not because I felt like it, but because I decided to.

In doing so, I uncovered truths that most of us often misunderstand.

Personal development is not:

➡️ Character building

➡️ Just setting goals

➡️ Productivity in one direction

➡️ Building courage

➡️ Staying healthy

➡️ Time management

➡️ Problem solving

➡️ Or even finding peace of mind

So… what is it really? 🤔

It is the self-discipline to do all of the above.

The discipline to choose consistently what truly matters... whether it's hard, or boring.

By virtue of becoming aware...

❌ I don’t measure personal development by routines.

❌ By better speaking.

❌ Or by posting about productivity.

I see it as a living standard.
The set of codes for being unstoppable.

At this point, if anything matters to me, it is the self-discipline to go for gold.

I am grateful to the coaches and organizers who stayed close enough to see me grow. 🙏

Consistency is beginning to feel less like stress and I'm super grateful.

Now, back to you...

💡 What does personal development really mean for you today?

Then one morning, my body reminded me I was wrong.

By 10 a.m., I was staring at my screen, scrolling emails I couldn’t focus on.

Tasks that felt easy yesterday suddenly felt impossible.

Even getting out of bed felt like a small victory.

There was something I didn't know:

The 5 Ps of Excellent Health were the roadmap my body had been begging for.

Every habit I ignored...
How I ate..moved, slept, or thought, was quietly draining my energy.

I realized that noticing them is only the first step; building them takes deliberate discipline.

Here’s what has become my roadmap:

➡️ Proper Weight – moving through the day with your body feeling at ease in your own skin.

➡️ Proper Exercise – Not being afraid of the pain of exercise because it has more rewards for my brain and body.

➡️ Proper Diet – Eating foods that fuel me, not tasty poison.

➡️ Proper Rest – sleeping enough to wake up clear-headed, not up and dreaming.

➡️ Proper Attitude – choosing hope and perspective even on hard days.

None of these happens automatically.
It’s all self-discipline in action.

You can perfectly manage your calendar.
Track every expense.
Eliminate distractions.

And still stagnate, if your body doesn’t have the energy to run the show.

After this realization, ...

I started asking myself:
Which of these habits am I ignoring right now?

Could I move my body, eat one nourishing meal, or get an extra hour of sleep today?

Discipline doesn’t live in checklists; it lives in the energy that fuels them, like fire in the engine of your life.

I'm curious...

What small habit could give you your highest quality energy this week?

Today, I blamed my partner for my bad mood. 💔

I have every right, she caused me not to smile !!
Part of me wished she were real…
just so I could yell at her properly. 😤

But in reality…
my sister just cooked late yesterday.

For a moment, I thought:
"If she just understood my eating cycle…
I wouldn’t be this frustrated."

At that time, I remembered something I had been reading about self-discipline...

how it helps you take control, solve problems, and guard your happiness.

And I ran into a truth I couldn’t ignore:

Here's the truth ...

No one will do your happiness for you. Realizing this, I had to ask myself:

What if the real problem isn’t how I’m treated…
but how I see my own value?

This line alone stood out for me because most of my emotional struggles aren’t caused by the people around me.

They happen when I slip into an "External Locus of Control"... thinking my happiness depends on someone else.

A moment of blame feels like defense…

Here’s a thing I’ll not hide:

The blame game drains your power
and leaves you feeling like a victim.

The partial reality is that...
No one will do your happiness for you.

Discipline is knowing you are the one who decides to get angry when slapped.

Focus on solutions, not crisis.
You are too valuable to be defined by careless treatment.

And now, here’s the question I leave you with…

What would you do if I slapped you now? 😅

I almost blamed my income today.

For a moment, it felt easier to think:
"Maybe I just don’t earn enough yet."

But while reading, a quiet question surfaced:

What if the real problem isn’t income… but attention?

I realized that most financial struggles aren’t caused by one big mistake.

They happen because of small habits we rarely notice.

A snack here.
An impulse purchase there.

Individually, harmless.
Together, quietly draining resources.

The reality is: many of these purchases aren’t about need at all...

They’re driven by stress, boredom, habit, or impulse.

I guess this truth has been hidden for long…

Discipline starts not with earning more, but with awareness.

Noticing your spending habits gives you the power to redirect money toward your goals instead of impulses.

For the next seven days, ...
I want to really pay attention to my expenditure to see if it reflects an impulse or need problem.

So let me ask you… are your spending choices out of impulse or need?

Sometimes, a single page can shift the way you see your entire world.

This one made me question everything I thought I knew about building something that lasts.

Tracy said something that should bother more people:

Most businesses aren't killed by laziness.

They're killed by confidence. The quiet, unchallenged "I already know this works" kind.

Most people call it a strategy gap. It's not.

And the fix isn't a new strategy or a better mindset.

It's the discipline to stop, look your idea in the eye, and ask...

"Does this actually work, or do I just want it to?"

Most people never ask that question. They just move fast and call it confidence.

We're out here trying to get leads that will become paying customers at all cost...

but the people who already paid us, trusted us, and came back are being ignored.

A retained customer is cheaper, easier, and more profitable.

We know this. We just don't act like it.

With this knowledge, I'm set to position myself as an authority in my workplace.

Stop fishing for new when you haven't finished the catch you already have.

Give every customer one reason to never look elsewhere.

Two things I'm doing differently this week:

— Test the assumption before I trust it

— Earn the repeat before I chase the new

What do you think is the easiest misconception surrounding self-discipline and business?

You’ve shown up for seven days straight.

And that is no small thing.

Consistency like this is how powerful habits are built.

But I didn’t just show up. I showed up to show forth.

It feels a little unfair to be your own announcer… but today, I’ll do just that. 😅

So permit me to be proud of myself for these two minutes.

Over the past week, this is what showing up has meant in practice:

💪 7 days of stretching.

🎭 7 days of challenging the excuses I normally dress up in suits.

💎 7 days of atomic but meaningful investment into my future self.

🚀 7 days of no acting or fantasizing—just doing.

🗝️ 7 days of replacing “I will” with “I am.”

What’s fascinating?

I’m becoming comfortable actively reading every day.

And I’m waking up with a clear plan for everything I want to accomplish each day.

Truth be told… it has been beautiful so far.

At this rate, I honestly think this challenge should last a whole year 😅

Today I read pages 173–198 of No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy.

One idea stayed with me long after I closed the book:

Future greatness isn’t a vague wish.
It’s the direct result of the time invested beyond the standard 40-hour survival week.

I’m beginning to see that progress often follows a simple pattern:

⏰ Arrive a little earlier to gain clarity and organize the day.

💪 Work with focused intensity, ignoring distractions.

🌙 Stay a little later to clear the path for tomorrow.

This isn’t just about extra hours.

It’s about leaving a “signature of dedication” on everything you touch.

A quiet proof that you are no longer the lazy, avoidant type, but someone who is becoming truly indispensable to your community.

Immense gratitude to the organizers. 🙏

Here’s my question for you:

What one small action could you take today that your future self will thank you for?

Growth isn’t just about learning from others.

It’s about discovering your own voice inside what you learn.

Lately, I’ve been thinking aloud:

How do I discover my voice within the words of another man? 🤔

Today is Day 6 of the 30 Days Reading Challenge organized by

I was reading pages ( 147-172) of No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy. 📚

One idea from the book struck me deeply.

It is very common for capable people to stand completely still…

simply because they refuse to take the first unprotected step. 🚶‍♂️

So the real question becomes:

How do we get out of that place?

If there is any way to become unstoppable, it is this:

Have the courage to start 💪

and the drive to continue. 🔁

Why does this matter to me?

Because the moment I accept full responsibility, my mind stops searching for who to blame and starts focusing on what I can do next.

Blame drains energy. ⚡

Responsibility redirects it. 🎯

And something powerful happens when you choose responsibility.

Every time you refuse to play the victim and choose to act,

your self-esteem rises. 📈

Persistence then becomes your tool of achievement.

Every ounce of it you show today becomes a building block for the person you are becoming.

Here is what it means to me:

Success is not about avoiding challenges...

It’s about how quickly you recover from the shocks of those challenges.

When worry or fear tries to paralyze you,

pivot immediately to disciplined, purposeful action.

One powerful tool mentioned in the book is something called a “Disaster Report.”

📝 Identify your key fear

📝 Identify the worst possible outcome

📝 Decide that you can accept it if it happens

📝 Then work relentlessly to improve that scenario

And one more reminder to myself:

Stop trying to survive on the leftovers of productive people. 🍽️

In the end, one truth remains:

Action is the only true cure for fear. 🚀

So let me ask you one question:

If you had only 1,000 XAF to survive for the next 30 days… 💰

What would you do?

Who am I actually paying allegiance to...
My potential, or my TV?

It’s Day 5 of the 30 Days Reading Challenge Organized by and I’m wrestling with ....

"The Math" from pages (121–146) of No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy.

The logic is simple:

If you improve by just 1/10th of 1% daily, you hit a 1,000% income increase in ten years.

But the logic of success requires the logic of sacrifice:

➡️ Don't just start your day — "make the day grow" by investing that first hour in your mind.

➡️ The 1-Hour Habit:
Read an hour a day. That’s one book a week.

➡️ Single-Minded Focus:
Finish one top priority 100% before moving on.

➡️ Self-Inspection:

After every task, ask: "What did I do right?"
and "What would I do differently?"

Here is the uncomfortable question I’m sitting with today:

Is a 1,000% increase in income as a goal after a decade achievable?

The truth is that success isn't a secret; it's a series of choices made at 5:00 AM.

So tell me ...

How are you showing up for your potential today?

The most powerful books don’t just teach you something new…

They remind you of something true about your own life. 📖✨

Today is Day 4 of the 30 Days Reading Challenge organized by . While reading pages (94–120), I couldn’t agree more with this idea:

At least 11 million people in Cameroon desire to be rich and healthy… but have no roadmap. 🧭

I’ve personally been caught in the valley of trying to achieve a lot financially… 💭

Do I really have what it takes?

Do I have the systems, knowledge, and skills needed?

Sadly, it has often been easier for me to defensively articulate reasons for not earning enough rather than building a clear path forward.

Here is the question I kept pondering throughout my reading:

If I were the President of my Personal Services Corporation, would I represent it as a growing company 📈 or a falling one 📉?

This matters because everyone has hope, but few have goals with plans as roadmaps. 🗺️

However, excellence is a decision + commitment.

✔️ A decision to be specific with what you want.

✔️ The courage to write it down with a deadline.

✔️ The commitment to take action without hesitation and improve at least 1% daily. 🚀

If you want to earn like the top 20% you admire, here are two things to do:

1️⃣ Find out how much they are earning and make it a goal.

2️⃣ Build a plan:

Remove the obstacles to that realization 🧱

Add the knowledge and skills required 📚

Build a network of people who will help you grow to that level 🤝

Seek advice from them directly or indirectly by reading their books.

Now I’m curious:

What is ONE thing you will do differently to earn 5× your current monthly allowance? 💡

05/03/2026

I just got a heartbreak 2 seconds ago 🥲💔…

apparently my forever deal with her was weaker than a missing phone charger. 🥹

It sounds funny, but it made me think about something deeper.

How many commitments in life collapse the moment something small disrupts our comfort?

Today is Day 3 of the 30-Day Reading Challenge 📚 organized

I’m reading No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy, and one idea hit me harder than expected.

Not because it was new…
but because it was uncomfortably true.

One idea from today's reading that really confronted me:

A well-planned excuse is actually a diagnostic tool.

Every excuse quietly reveals where we are running away from responsibility.

What made this uncomfortable is how easily I could see my own “reasonable explanations” in it.

It forced me to admit that some delays in my life were not really caused by circumstances, but by moments where I chose comfort instead of responsibility.

And honestly, I agree with the argument.

The moment responsibility leaves us, control leaves with it.

If this is true, then something has to change.

I cannot keep entertaining excuses that sound logical but delay action.

It means I'll need to sit down and do the deep work without writing a formal escape letter.

So here is the uncomfortable takeaway for me:

📌 Maturity begins where blaming ends.

📌 Excuses multiply the moment we tolerate them.

📌 And life presents a quiet choice:
Either you work toward your own goals, or you eventually work toward someone else’s.

Some ideas motivate you.
Others simply expose you.

This was one of them.

Someone needs this.

Kindly repost this to reach that person navigating the challenges of discipline and responsibility.
