*Strategic Partnership Meeting Between SWECOM PLC and Lifongo Village Community Holds in Douala*

A strategic partnership meeting between SWECOM PLC and the Lifongo Village Community took place recently in Douala to seek ways of fostering development in the community.

The meeting, whose agenda was the improvement of social amenities in the community through SWECOM’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, was timely for the development of Lifongo village.

Representing Lifongo village was the Traditional Ruler, HRM Billy Bob Ndive Lifongo, and members of the Traditional Council.

The two parties discussed issues such as pipe-borne water, rural electrification, and the upgrading of primary school structures, among others.

It should be noted that since the coronation of HRM Billy Bob Ndive Lifongo as Chief of Lifongo Village on April 4, 2026, many development projects have been envisaged for the community.
