Hello GF China community! We want to introduce our final team member to you. Hannah is a Registered Dietitian who has lived in Shanghai for over a year and has followed a GF diet more than 15 years. She understands the hard work, frustration and anxiety that can be involved with this diet and is happy to provide resources and support through the Gluten-FreeChina platforms.

More Team Introductions: Meet Djamila Muller Villela! Djamila moved to Guangzhou in July 2016 after living in Japan six years. Her CD diagnoses in 2009 led her to profoundly rethink her diet and her relationship to food. When she’s not teaching Pilates, she’s busy creating gluten-free, plant-powered meals for her family and friends.

For Dr. Melissa ultimate health is not a dream; it's a reality she strives to achieve for herself and for each of her patients. In her experience a happy gut is the foundation to both a healthy body and mind. Dr. Melissa uses a combination of dietary strategies, along with neutraceuticals and homeopathy, to heal the digestive tract. She has lived in China for over a decade with her celiac husband and two children.

Meet Chiara - of our Gluten-Free China Team!
Chiara was diagnosed coeliac in 2015, while living in Singapore and just 4 weeks before her wedding. She knew right away the struggle was real! Gluten-free living in Asia is the only gluten-free living she knows and, challenging as it may be, she is determined to make it work for herself and for others. Especially as being Italian, food is her life!

Sanna was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2001. She has followed a gluten-free diet since then and has developed a passion for educating others about gluten-free living and related issues.

Sanna is an expert in gluten-free food technology and has experience in the food & beverage industry. Sanna is also a freelance writer, writing for issues related to coeliac disease and has contributed to the Finnish Coeliac Society.
