Buddhism and Taoism are not the only religions in China. In fact, the country's belief systems are very diverse.

There are 5 religions that have been officially recognized:

🕉Buddhism, which occupies the majority of the southern and southwest regions

☯️Taoism, which is more represented in the center and southeast

✝️Catholicism and Protestantism, which are located in China’s eastern regions

☪️Islam, which is predominantly present in western regions like Xinjiang and Gansu.

Monotheistic religions, like Islam and Christianity, are beginning to occupy a large part of the country, with Protestant Christianity being the fastest-growing religion in China.

🕹Have you ever considered traveling virtually?

🛫Since the outbreak of COVID-19, travel has been restricted and the tourism industry has been hit hard. But virtual tourism has become popular as it enables people to travel without leaving home.

🏞Today, young Chinese people consider virtual tourism as a great resource, capable of enriching their travel experiences.

🚍Virtual and physical tourism is not necessarily in competition: VR technology can be installed in the most popular touristic destinations in China to enhance travelers’ experience.

🛣Virtual tourism in China can help travelers save money, enjoy wonderful views without having to queue up, as well as help preserve Chinese scenic spots from wild tourism.

Happy 🗺 Today we show the top 10 provinces with the highest average salary in China💰, according to the “China Statistical Yearbook 2022” report published by the National Bureau of Statistics.

💰The average salary can be different depending on whether it is in the private or non-private sector. Non-private entities include state-owned units, collective units, joint ventures, joint-stock economies, foreign-invested economies, etc., and are usually higher than the ones in the private sector.

💰Among the 10 provinces, 7 are from the developed eastern coastal area: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong on the southeast coast, and the 3 direct-administered municipalities, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin.

💰The capital and economic capital cities are far above the rest of the provinces, both exceeding 190,000 yuan in average salary in the non-private sector and 90,000 in the private sector.

💰On the other hand, provinces with the lowest wages, such as Henan, Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Hebei, Jilin, and Gansu, are primarily located in central and northeast regions.

🐕‍🦺 Recently, the number of pets in Chinese households has increased tremendously, from 130 million in 2016 to 200 million in 2020.

Dogs🐶 are the most popular pets in China, immediately followed by cats🐱

The 3 factors contributing to China's pet economy include the increasing income of people💰, the singles economy🧍🏻, and the silver economy🧓.

🐕 And with more pets also come with pet food…

🥣 In 2021, China’s pet food production reached 1.13 million tons, with a y-o-y increase of 17.3%.

🐈‍⬛ Pet food is becoming more sophisticated and more accessible to everyone, even if the consumer lives in rural areas.

🦮 Likewise, China's pet food sector can only get better and wealthier as time passes by.

Prior to the pandemic, Hong Kong was already going through uneasy times and losing the trust of some investors and companies, and Singapore’s exports were declining

The arrival of Covid-19 and numerous lockdowns have put even more pressure on the two cities.

But Hong Kong is still dealing with the pandemic, and the Zero-Covid policy pushes many international workers and locals out of the city.

Numerous companies are considering relocating to Singapore due to its more stable social and economic environment.

Despite, Hong Kong has shown positive trends in fighting the pandemic and attracting companies back, which gives it a promising future.
