Happy 🗺 Today we show the top 10 provinces with the highest average salary in China💰, according to the “China Statistical Yearbook 2022” report published by the National Bureau of Statistics.
💰The average salary can be different depending on whether it is in the private or non-private sector. Non-private entities include state-owned units, collective units, joint ventures, joint-stock economies, foreign-invested economies, etc., and are usually higher than the ones in the private sector.
💰Among the 10 provinces, 7 are from the developed eastern coastal area: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong on the southeast coast, and the 3 direct-administered municipalities, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin.
💰The capital and economic capital cities are far above the rest of the provinces, both exceeding 190,000 yuan in average salary in the non-private sector and 90,000 in the private sector.
💰On the other hand, provinces with the lowest wages, such as Henan, Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Hebei, Jilin, and Gansu, are primarily located in central and northeast regions.
