⚡️👎 Why too much exposure will negatively affect your plate?

👁 Take a close look at the highlighted regions in Image 1 and 2.

The surface irregularities and rough textures, shown are a result of pushing your too far.

When a plate is exposed to excessive UV-LED energy, the intense, rapid heat generation and hyper-polymerization physically alter the plate's architecture before it ever reaches the press cylinder.

Let's see why❓

1. Surface Pitting and Roughness : Over-curing degrades the smooth surface of the plate, creating a bumpy, pitted texture, clearly visible on the solid faces of the characters. This ruins the smooth ink laydown, leading to pinholing and weak solid ink densities on the final . 🗺

2. Cupping: The intense and rapid curing from over-exposure can cause uneven cross-linking across the polymer. This pulls the edges of solids and text higher than the center, creating a "cupped" shape that severely compromises uniform ink transfer. ✿
