For football fans, the story of Curaçao is already one of the greatest underdog stories in modern international football. A small Caribbean island with a population of only around 150,000 people has qualified for the FIFA World Cup, becoming the smallest nation ever to reach football's biggest stage. In a sport dominated by giants such as Brazil, Germany, Argentina, France, England, Spain and Italy, Curaçao has achieved what many thought impossible.
Yet behind every football story are real people. Behind every qualification campaign are players, coaches, families, struggles, victories, disappointments, dreams, sacrifices, and moments that never make the headlines.
This livestream is about that side of the story.
As millions prepare to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026, we will take a moment to hear from men whose lives are about much more than football. Men who have trained for years to represent their nation, but who also understand that there are things in life that are even bigger than sport.
Throughout history, God has used people in positions of influence to shine His light in places that would otherwise be difficult to reach. Today, professional football is one of the most influential platforms in the world. Players have the opportunity to reach nations, cultures, cities, and generations through their example, their character, and their testimony.
Many people know the statistics, the rankings, the transfer values, and the match schedules. Far fewer know the stories of faith that exist inside dressing rooms, training camps, and national teams around the world.
Tonight, some of those stories will be shared.
One of the special guests during this livestream is Kenji Gorré, international footballer and member of the Curaçao national team. As he prepares for the World Cup, he will share part of his personal testimony and speak about faith, purpose, and the role Jesus Christ has played in his life. In an age where athletes are often encouraged to build their identity around performance and success, it is refreshing to hear from players who recognize that trophies and achievements can never satisfy the deepest needs of the human heart.

It tells us that God loved the world so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins and to rise again from the dead so that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life.
Some of the most influential testimonies in modern football have come from players who openly followed Jesus Christ while competing at the highest level. Around the world, footballers continue to discover that faith in Christ provides something that success alone can never provide: peace with God, forgiveness of sins, hope beyond this life, and a purpose that extends far beyond the final whistle.
