FYI… when launching a site, always be sure to run it by your QA team. ESPECIALLY if it’s a multilingual site. Bonus points if your QA team is keen and sharp-eyed… like my 14 year old nephew who spotted a mistranslation… apparently I was advertising “sensual toys” instead of “sensory toys”. BIG PROBLEM! My 7 year old has also made it her MISSION in life to click on EVERY link in EVERY language and find as MANY mistakes as possible. My darling, thank you so much! ::gritting teeth:: 😅 She has a future in QA I think!

🌟 It’s All About the Journey 🌟

In 2022, I took a leap of faith: I transitioned from teaching music to diving headfirst into the world of web development. It’s been a wild ride full of learning, growth, and plenty of challenges—but one I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Moving to Cyprus (from Texas!) came with its own hurdles—like learning Greek to connect with people here—while raising two incredible kids and showing them what it means to take risks and embrace lifelong learning.

Since starting this journey, I’ve rebuilt my portfolio site more times than I can count, worked on real-world projects, and gained hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and coding from scratch. Now, I’m leveling up with React, TypeScript, AI, and Machine Learning. It’s a lot, but I’m loving every minute.

💡 What’s next? I’m looking for a junior web developer position where I can learn more, grow, and contribute to exciting projects. I’m also on the lookout for a mentor who can guide me as I take these next steps.
