Die Black Forest Gorillas sind mehr als nur ein Musikprojekt. Wir sind ein kreatives Kollektiv aus dem Schwarzwald, das sich bewusst jeder Schublade entzieht. Hier trifft Vielfalt auf Leidenschaft, Spontaneität auf musikalisches Können und unterschiedliche Einflüsse verschmelzen zu einem einzigartigen Sound.

Statt sich auf ein Genre festzulegen, bewegen wir uns frei zwischen den Welten: Mal treibend und tanzbar, mal entspannt und atmosphärisch, dann wieder roh, energiegeladen oder verspielt. The Black Forest Gorillas 🦍 are more than just a music project! They are a creative collective from the Black Forest that deliberately defies categorisation. Here, diversity meets passion, spontaneity meets musical skill, and diverse influences blend into a unique sound.

Rather than committing to a single genre, the Black Forest Gorillas move freely between worlds: at times driving and danceable, at times relaxed and atmospheric, then raw, energetic or playful. Elements of dance, rock, soul, jazz, rap and electronic music flow seamlessly into one another, creating a sonic experience that never ceases to surprise. The song lyrics range from light-hearted and cheerful to serious and profound themes.

The songs are written in German, English, Italian and French. As diverse as the musical influences themselves. Each language brings its own colour and mood, broadening the creative horizon.

The focus is not on perfection, but on expression. The Black Forest Gorillas see music as a living process: open, changeable and shaped by moments.

The Black Forest Gorillas 🦍 stand for freedom, diversity and the courage to break new ground. A project that defies categorisation and finds its strength precisely in that.
