As performance and comfort merge ever more deeply in Summer 2027, activewear fabrics include natural rhythms and intelligent responsiveness into their very structure, building a versatile wardrobe suited for both urban commutes and outdoor exploration. Ultra-lightweight materials offer a semi-sheer, misty visual effect. Recycled and bio-based nylon/polyester honor environmental commitments at the source and embody a high-performance philosophy rooted in symbiosis with nature. Laminated composites with microporous membranes achieve dynamic balance among wind resistance, waterproofing, breathability, moisture-wicking, and UV protection. Built-in antimicrobial functionality has become a long-term expectation. “Invisible sweat” performance is emerging as a key selling point for summer. Phase-change materials intelligently regulate skin temperature across varying exercise intensities. Natural rhythms build a refined daily aesthetic of effortless confidence. Clothing adapts to its environment, radiating a light, healing energy that flows through simplicity. Get the latest materials trends by Textile Intelligence 🤝

The shades of Summer 2027 capture the exact moment the sun slips through the leaves, releasing a visual rush of oxygen and uncomplicated joy. Light-spring grass, dew-yellow and leek-green, folds into one airy yellow-green chord that primes the summer senses. Another urban, practical brown-green palette—deep-branch brown, verdant green, bamboo-shoot yellow—lifts its pigments straight from the forest floor and stone, then cools them with a wash of gray-brown; the result exudes a more understated, practical, and sophisticated appeal. Colors act as a translator, turning natural energy into an urban language. It delivers a refreshing sense of freedom to body and mind, keeping you light and in tune with nature—even in the middle of the city. Get the latest trends by Textile Intelligence 🌈

In your summer 2027 fashion keeps pace with your pulse and daily rhythm. It faces outward toward nature rhythm and street corner buzz, and inward toward small joys in daily life and bodily sensations. Adaptive, functional design elevates everyday wear. Fabrics respond to wind and rain with biomimetic textures, acting like breathable skin. Design enables the dress to transition seamlessly among commuting, exercise, and social settings through modular transformations and a cut that follows the body’s natural lines. Consumption evolves into a circular ecosystem, shifting toward nature-inspired learning and human-centered care, cultivating lasting vitality that infuses daily life with warmth. With new EU regulations like ESPR, companies are being pushed to rethink how products are designed from the very beginning:
👉 More durable
👉 Repairable
👉 Recyclable
👉 Transparent across the entire lifecycle
This is not just about compliance.
It’s about a fundamental shift from linear models to true circular thinking.
From my perspective, especially in global textile supply chains, this means one thing:
Companies that integrate ecodesign early will lead.
Those who wait will struggle to catch up.
How is your brand embedding ecodesign into product development and supply chain decisions?

The State of Fashion 2026 makes clear:
The rules are changing – and standing still is not an option.
🔍 Key trends & themes are
- Slower growth and sustained market pressure
- AI becoming business-critical across design and supply chain
- Consumers prioritizing value, longevity, and purpose
- Strong momentum in resale, secondhand, and circular models
- Polarization of brands: elevation, differentiation, or decline
🚀 The opportunity?
Brands that embrace technology, agility, and new value propositions can outperform the market – even in turbulent times. Circularity, AI-driven efficiency, and sharper brand positioning are no longer experiments, but growth levers.
👉 How do you accept the challenges, rethink old playbooks, and actively shape what comes next ?

What many sectors — including textiles — truly need for more sustainability is less:
less waste, less overproduction, and less linear thinking.

While legislation against textile waste is growing stronger, meaningful change requires more than regulation alone — it demands new systems and practices that circularize the way we produce, use, and reuse garments.
One compelling solution comes from workwear: rental and service-based textile systems.
Instead of ownership that often leads to overconsumption and disposal, rental workwear extends garment life through professional care and reuse, creates a shared responsibility model between provider and user and aligns naturally with circular economy principles.
For sectors like hospitality, healthcare, industry, and public services, this isn’t just a smart operational choice — it’s an ecological one.

In 2026 and beyond, sustainability isn’t just about doing less harm — it’s about designing systems that do better.
How is your organization thinking differently about textiles, sharing or rental solutions to reduce waste and increase value?

The pace of change isn’t slowing down.
Markets shift. Technologies evolve. Expectations rise.
But staying ahead isn’t about chasing every new trend.
It’s about building the right foundation to make innovation sustainable.
Recent conversations confirm for me that real progress happens when innovation is embedded in a clear system of Shared goals, Aligned teams, Strong cross-functional collaboration and Cultural awareness in international partnerships.
Speed alone doesn’t create impact.
Clarity does - staying curious without losing focus.
Vision means knowing where you want to create value — not just reacting to what’s new.
Excited to see how strong partnerships and textile innovation continue to shape the next chapter.
How do you ensure innovation translates into real market momentum in your organization?

The EU resets fashion’s business model fundamentally.
Between 2026–2030, three new EU regulations will change how fashion brands operate:
👕 Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
Brands will be taken responsible for the end-of-life of the products they sell.
🔥 Ban on destroying unsold goods (ESPR)
Overproduction can no longer disappear through write-offs or incineration.
📲 Digital Product Passports (DPP)
Every garment will carry verified data on materials, origin, and lifecycle.

What this really means for brands:
• Inventory becomes financial liability
• Design decisions affect compliance costs
• Supply chains must become data-transparent
• Overproduction stops being profitable
The winning strategy moves from volume & speed → to durability, traceability, and lifecycle value.

How do you prepare your textile brand in a more regulated industry?

🎥 Video has become a central pillar in today’s marketing mix.
YouTube is no longer just a social platform; it’s effectively the second-largest search engine. More and more people use it intentionally for research, tutorials, insights, and high-quality content rather than passive scrolling or traditional TV consumption.
At the same time, demand for YouTube content in B2B is clearly increasing. Many companies recognize the impact strong video can have on visibility, positioning, and trust.
But here’s the key point: Quality, clarity, storytelling, and real value make the difference. Poorly produced or generic AI-driven content doesn’t build credibility .
The opportunity is huge. The standard must be higher.
How are you working with video? Do you outsource production for higher quality or just upload the stuff you have ?

A common challenge: AI projects often remain stuck in the pilot phase. Teams experiment with promising technologies, but the step toward scalable, real-world impact never fully happens.
The key shift is starting with the business outcome, not the technology.
Before selecting tools or models, organizations should ask:
• What business problem are we solving?
• Which KPI should improve (revenue, cost, efficiency, customer experience)?
• What data is required to support this?
Another critical factor is data readiness. Fragmented systems and poor data quality often limit the potential of even the most advanced AI solutions.
When these elements come together, AI moves from experimentation to scalable business impact.
AI doesn’t create value on its own — well-designed business applications of AI do.
