I see people build websites for clients and add Universal Analytics and or worse, Universal Analytics only. What a waste of time and effort! AND lousy service to clients. GA4 is the (near) future, no point in even touching Universal Analytics now.

You know that feeling when you are thrilled to finish hours of work on a website👨‍💻, fixing errors found by Semrush, and you expect to see a clean report? You go page by page and meticulously correct problems in the text, code, and HTML. Then you hit “Re-run campaign” and wait for the email with the results. And then 🤯 . Something like, “Great job, you fixed the problems! And just for you, we’ve discovered a lot more for you to handle. Have fun, buddy!”😱 Oh well. Back to work, kids. That’s what we do around here 😉

Пренеприятный сюрприз от получили наши клиенты, владеющие популярными в России SaaS сервисами. Они получили от #ЮКасса сообщение 12 января вечером (вчера), согласно которому иностранным компаниям распоряжением российского Минфина запрещено теперь получать деньги от российских физлиц. Причем отрубили сразу, без каких-либо "вот вам две недели, чтобы найти альтернативу". Мы теперь в срочном порядке переключаем их сервисы на Stripe , сегодня-завтра закончим переносить три сервиса. Пока что создали им страницу, где клиенты всех сервисов могут оплатить и потом мы руками пополняем баланс или продлеваем действие тарифов. One man's loss is another man's gain, как говорится. Будем наблюдать над развитием событий🍿

Google Search Console's ability to resubmit the URL for reindexing is back! Such a happy day )) Just remember - in case you need to resubmit multiple pages, it is better to recrawl the sitemap instead. Much quicker and more convenient.

Some interesting news from Google Adsense, for those who monetize their websites with Google. here is the text of the email Google sent to Google Adsense account owners:
"To deliver a richer experience on mobile, we’re investing heavily in creating a responsive web interface.
Our goal is to improve the AdSense mobile experience by giving you more features and functionality much faster than we can today.
As we move towards this goal, we’ll stop supporting the AdSense mobile application over the next few months.
In the meantime, stay tuned for updates on the AdSense mobile web experience!"
Moving away from apps towards responsive web interfaces in browsers is a very interesting step. We'll see how things develop from here.
