Hellooo! Hi!

It’s a bitttt hard to believe that my last personal/business Instagram post (excluding client accounts of course 😉) was in May! Time really is f l y i n g!

I wanted to check in and say all is great!

Some may think: “How is this girl supposed to say she works in social media and.... doesn’t. even. post!”

Well, here is my answer! This year I have had to reprioritize my time and focus on what’s most important at this moment. Sacrificing something that you think others expect from you is OKkkk.

For me, taking care of my clients and my new little demanding assistant are more important than my own self-promotion or sharing what I am up to on social media. I would rather maintain dedication and quality for my clients than trying to spread myself too thin.

Believe me, I am still ALL for social media and strongly believe in the importance of it for business! Luckily, I get to experience this work each day with my clients! I am so so thankful that even with having a busy little boy by my side, I have been able to continue working throughout this year and really have the BEST and supportive clients, of which I can also call friends!

One of my favorite things to do growing up was to garden. I learned so much from my family and now it has been fun having a little urban balcony garten of my own!

I am in the process of preparing for our next The Rising Tide Society TuesdaysTogether digital at home meet-up on May 19th!

Last month we had great discussions about how each small business is coping with the current times, while brainstorming strategies to continue on. This month becomes a bit more personal and digs deeper into the topic of mental wellness (Mentales Wohlbefinden).

This is always something that is important, but I think that this topic comes at the perfect time and thankful for the wonderful resources that are being provided by Rising Tide.

The main topics revolve around:
1. Reframing your mind.
2. Making mental wellness a priority.
3. Seeking a support system.

TuesdaysTogether is always one of my favorite days of the month, by spending time with some of my favorite people! Even though we have “been apart” I am so thankful that we have a productive way to still stay connected digitally.

Friday was delivery day for the new Therapiezentrum Herford booklets and I am still excited about them! It is always great when I have the opportunity to work on print projects, in addition to digital.

What I absolutely love about these booklets is that they tell a story and show the emotion of the patients and therapy experts. It is not bogged down with text and mundane details that nobody wants to read. I was able to see the therapy first hand when visiting Herford, and with Paco’s (highstandartstherapy) care and extreme knowledge, as well as Fanni’s (Fanni Hermán Photography) perfect ability to capture amazing emotion through photography, it all came together perfectly in the design and ex*****on of the booklets.

One of my favorite parts of the booklet is the hand drawn location map. This was the first time that I could apply digital hand drawing to a client design project and love how it turned out!

This is such a delicate line of work and I am proud that I was able to help more people learn about Paco, his wonderful team and the work that they offer to better the lives of their patients!

I was instantly so excited when I began to work on this logo and it just felt so right! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your exciting new journey!

I may already be married, but it will still be awesome to listen to their perspective as wedding experts in Germany! To all of my German friends, check out the first episode next Sunday, April 4th on Spotify!

Happy Happy 3rd Birthday!! Each year I always look forward to celebrating the shop anniversary! It is such a great moment to see so many customers coming together to shop your great looks and style! Chatting and hanging out for a drink. For me in the past, this event often felt like the official kickoff to Spring… flowers and love filling the shop from the people and customers who you love. I am really looking forward to the special times ahead… and for now will focus on all of the good times that we have had together AND sport my BOCK clothes at home.

For me, I feel so fortunate that a lot of my time was already spent on my computer and in my home office - I am still feeling a bit of normalcy (to an extent). I am fortunate that I can be home and stay healthy. I appreciate this each day.

I continue to think about my clients and the small businesses that are doing everything that they can to stay connected and service their customers. I am so happy that I am able to support them during this time, more than ever!

There are a lot of new routines and ways of doing things, but I think that this extreme need to be flexible brings about new ideas and new ways of working. Some of which may even stick in the future! Have you discovered new processes that have actually made you or your business more productive?!

On a non-work related topic, I am quite entertained by digitally watching what people are doing during this time at home. If you know me, you may have guessed that it is not much different from my normal - cooking, baking, and eating! With this, I have really enjoyed experimenting, being extremely cautious of what I have, need to use, etc. so there is absolutely no waste. I have developed new habits when it comes to dinner planning that I will continue to use in the future and will make my life a little bit easier, while still enjoying the art of cooking and baking - which is my absolute happy place!!
