I've made another post on my website! This one is about a favourite Danish tradition of mine, which involves stripping you down on your 25th birthday, tying you to a pole, and dumping cinnamon over your head.

This might be my favourite Danish tradition. If you happen to find yourself u***d and celebrating your 25th birthday in Denmark, expect your friends to drag you into the streets, tie you to the closest pole, strip you down, and then cover you with cinnamon.

More pics from my trip to Copenhagen!! I wanted to make a separate post just for this beautiful church popularly known as Marmorkirken (The Marble Church) which opened in 1894. It’s real name is Frederikskirken (Frederik’s Church) and it’s totally free to visit, so it’s definitely worth a trip if you ever happen to be in Copenhagen.

August 19th, I officially moved into my dorm in Denmark to attend Aarhus University for my year-long exchange. I’ve lived in Aarhus’ city centre for 10 days now. I’ve met so many people, taken so many pictures, and done so many things that I’ve had a hard time deciding what to post first. Aarhus (a.k.a. ‘The city of smiles’) is such a fun, beautiful place that I still can’t believe I live here. The pics I decided to post first start with what I did/saw when I first arrived in Denmark—including pics of my plane ride from Copenhagen to Aarhus, the canal which cuts through the city, the university where my classes start next week, my first ‘Danish coffee’, some different streets/architecture, Aarhus from the top of the ARoS museum, and finally… my first Danish beer bought and drank at the university’s ‘basement bar.’

Thanks to everyone who wished me luck on my journey. I’m excited to post and share everything with you. Miss you all already!
