What an amazing few days in Copenhagen. Love this city! First time being abroad for many, many years (and first time on a plane ever for the kids!) and it’s been awesome!

Hi 👋 how are we all?

It’s been a while since I posted on here. I got really busy working with lots of awesome clients on some of their fantastic projects 🙌 and time just flew!

And then, this summer for the first time, like, ever! I’ve taken a break! A “sabbatical”, if you will… and being totally present with the kids and myself this summer has been awesome.

So, not sure what’s next from September when it’s “back to school”, but I’m excited to work and manage my time a little differently so that I can feel this freedom more often! But I’m still here, still always have my eyes peeled for / can have my head turned by the right opportunities 😉… so let’s watch this space!!

Finding someone to work with who 'gets' you and your brand can be tricky.

Your products/services is your baby, I know.

And if YOU are the brand, then how could anyone possibly be you?

That's why I always delve deep to get under the skin of my clients brand voice so that when I help create content, either written copy or aesthetically through imagery or graphics it is crafted with the care and attention it deserves.

Every brand is unique, and your audience and customers deserve to be spoken to in a way that is authentically 'you'.

But seriously, this is just a small snippet of a bloody fantastic testimonial I received from one of my clients recently. It's always nice to hear kind words, to be reassured you're doing a good job isn't it?

But this expression 'sanity saver' really hits the nail on the head for me about how I like to serve my clients and what hiring someone like me is all about.

You don't have to do things alone, to struggle and feel overwhelmed - reach out and find people to work with who will make you feel like your sanity (as well as your business) is in good hands.

I used to be one of those people who said that I 'didn't have time' to exercise. There was always something more important to do and I was a slave to my commitments.

In reality, I think there will always be a reason NOT to do something for yourself when there is a huge list of things to do for your business, your clients, your family....

BUT... I joined a gym a couple of months ago, and made myself go and this is what I have found.

1. nobody missed me as much as I thought they would (everything is still there after an hour and usually, nothing has happened that I have missed.)

2. even though I have taken time away from work/kids etc I am way MORE productive and focussed so am getting more done

3. It improves my mood - so my family don't have to put up with me being so grumpy! ha

So if you want to go and do some exercise, or meditate, or go for a dog walk, or pop out for a lunch or coffee with a friend or get a facial or whatever it is that you feel guilty about doing.... just do it!!!

The happier, healthier you will thank you for it!

I did this awesome course at the beginning of the year thanks to .

I worked in creative ad agencies for 12 years before going freelance, but I knew that I needed to be up to speed with paid social media marketing and I wanted to expand my services to include Facebook & Instagram ad strategy and management.

I now love nothing more that getting under the skin of audiences and testing out different creatives and strategies... it makes my inner geek so happy!
