24 hours in London for an offsite

An huge thank you to .theowo for such a wonderful albeit far too short stay. I would have been thrilled with any room in this hotel so the upgrade to a ministerial suite was a real treat and I’m very grateful.

This is one of my favorite hotels in London for so many reasons:

☀️ it’s iconic and historic - if only the walls could talk but they don’t so you can book a tour with the historians onsite who can do the talking.

☀️ Spacious rooms and a collection of really beautiful unique Suites - some you can use for private events (very cool)

☀️ Great event spaces all contained in the same areas and the team are very flexible and creative to work with you to make your events a success

☀️ They have a fantastic spa, a pool and some 9 great restaurants from Michelin starred to trendy and 3 bars including the secret Spy Bar (IYKYK)

☀️ Definitely recommend the afternoon tea and they do fantastic Indian food at The Drawing Room and I always make sure to have a London Sling at the Guards Bar cause I only have the Singapore Sling at the OG

I was not in my room enough to fully enjoy it as much as I had liked but very thankful for the generous amenities and the wonderful service from everyone.

A historic landmark given new life ✨

After an extensive renovation and restoration, Marienlyst Slot (castle) in Helsingør has reopened as a stunning venue where history, culture, and modern hospitality come together.

Originally built as a royal retreat overlooking the Øresund, the castle’s elegant architecture and beautifully preserved grounds now provide an extraordinary setting for events, gatherings, and memorable experiences. The castle, the view and the baroque style gardens are simply stunning!

As an event organiser, I’m always inspired by venues that offer more than just a beautiful backdrop. The best event spaces create a sense of place and tell a story. Marienlyst Slot (castle) does exactly that - combining centuries of Danish heritage with a fresh vision for the future.

Whether for smaller corporate meetings, dinners and other events (up to about 50 seated in largest room), cultural programs, leadership retreats, or special celebrations, it’s exciting to see this historic gem reimagined as a vibrant destination for bringing people together - it’s such a flexible venue.

So if you’re looking to offer a truly ‘royal‘ experience, then definitely connect with Copenhagen Convention Bureau and get this venue on your list!

Easily one of the coolest things I’ve done in Copenhagen and when the sun shines like right now - I wish I was on the beautiful waters of the Harbour !

Plus I’d jump right in after! Missing Cph but what fun we had ! 🫶🏽

Oh did I mention fantastic meeting spaces, very cool bar, endless aesthetic vibes and biophilic design?

Also one of the best hotel shops I’ve ever visited.

The party rooftop never disappoints!

The weather turned up, there was a great new drinks discovered from , fantastic music and vibes.

Always so wonderful meeting industry friends & family

Met some great new contacts, saw some cool event tech and trends, had too much fun at event (separate post to come!) and stayed (very nice) despite short stay.

Copenhagen, the perfect 15 minute city 🏙️
