Dominica is working to build strong and resilient healthcare sector and is moving ahead towards a world-class system. It has been witnessing the construction of many health and wellness centres as well as hospitals. Now, people of Dominica will have better treatment. Dominica constructed state-of-the-art Princess Margret Hospital and Marigot Hospital.

Dominica is focusing on developing the education sector. The young generation of the Commonwealth of Dominica is attaining education from schools featuring modern technologies, smart classes and climate-resilient infrastructure. The newly constructed schools have been equipped with advanced learning techniques.

Besides this, the schools will include – contemporary learning techniques, including an auditorium, computer lab, library, kitchen, cafeteria, guidance & counselling room, and washroom facilities.

Dominica is providing climate-resilient houses to every family of the country. Strong housing units with five star amenities are being delivered to the families, who lost their homes during the landfall of Tropical Storm Erika and Hurricane Maria.

To date, the keys of 1,500 FREE house have been given to the families and as per the promise of 5,000 families will have resilient homes which can withstand any category 5 hurricane.

When the whole world was standstill, Dominica was the only country which was developing in a rapid pace.

Dominica started two major development works during the period of pandemic such as the new international airport and world's longest cable car.

Besides Dominica did not stop from constructing houses for families which suffered loss during natural disasters. The country has built over 1,500 houses on its path to construct 5,000 climate-resilient homes for people.

Dominica has also built state-of-the art hospitals, healthcare centres, community centres and schools.
