Ayer celebramos el Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias recordando que muchas especies viajan miles de kilómetros cada año, conectando continentes, islas y océanos.
En Galápagos, convivimos con aves únicas como el gavilán de Galápagos, los flamencos, piqueros de patas rojas, gaviotas, el canario María, cormoranes y pingüinos. Algunas migran, otras han hecho de este archipiélago su hogar permanente. Todas nos recuerdan lo vital que es proteger sus hábitats.

Yesterday we celebrated World Migratory Bird Day, honoring the incredible journeys many bird species make across continents, seas, and skies.
