Service Engineer Job Vacancies:
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs service duties and to insure that all Services provided to our customers are completed in an efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance.
Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis.
Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property community policies.
Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self improvement for personal growth and development.
Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of instruments .
Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location
Provide on-site training to the customers
Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
Develop Service technical documentation
Maintain service information in the company enterprise database.
Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate.
Timely complete and submit all required paperwork .
Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement
any necessary corrective actions.
Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service
Inspection of assembled equipment, to ensure proper installation.
Inspection of all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances.
Tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation.
Clearly and professionally interact with customer, regarding status of commissioning, on a daily basis.
Able to determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of job.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, and assist in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with customer.
Assemble, align, and install equipment as necessary.
Travel, approximately 60% of the time.
Follow standard processes and procedures.
Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business.
Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary.
Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
Deliver service and support to end-users using and operating automated
call distribution phone software, via remote connection or over the Internet.
Interact with customers to provide and process information in response
to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services; Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, WEBEX, TEAMVIEWER and more. Research required information using available resources.
Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of science in Engineering or chemistry ; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers one-on-one or groups of employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
