The first summer Achieving Kids have officially completed the “Valeh Business Challenge Program”. 🚀

For those who know my style, you know this wasn’t a “summer camp.” It was an intensive business bootcamp focused on action, accountability, and real-world results.

These young professionals stepped into the role of “Junior Business Consultants”, working on a real business challenge for a local restaurant owner on Spain’s Costa del Sol. They didn’t learn from hypothetical case studies—they learned by solving real business problems.

Over the program, they developed experience in:
• Financial intelligence and cost management
• Business consulting fundamentals
• AI agents and workflow automation
• Project management
• Business process documentation
• Research and critical thinking
• Business presentations and executive communication
• Scope management and understanding what is in and out of scope
• Team collaboration, professionalism, and client-focused thinking

Most importantly, they learned how to think like consultants—asking better questions, documenting clearly, analyzing problems before proposing solutions, and delivering work they could genuinely be proud of.

Now they’re ready for the next challenge.

🧠 Students are now moving beyond learning concepts — and into building real AI-driven consulting systems

What if teenagers learned how to think like consultants before entering the workforce?

In Session 3 of Achieving Kids, our young business consultants explored the world of consulting—from operational, marketing, finance, legal, and strategy consulting to the communication skills that separate great consultants from average ones.

Using lessons from my book, Supercharge Workforce Communication, they learned the Power of Intention: understanding the intention of the business, the client, the team, and themselves before taking action.

They also discovered that effective consultants don’t rely on assumptions—they seek facts. They ask better questions, listen strategically, adapt their communication style throughout the consulting cycle, collaborate with their team, and present recommendations with confidence.

One of the most powerful lessons? Silence is not weakness. Silence is a strategic communication tool (used in negotiations).

These students aren’t just learning business concepts. They’re developing critical thinking, confidence, teamwork, presentation skills, and real-world problem-solving abilities that will serve them for life.

One of my favorite things about the Achieving Kids Business Challenge is watching the transformation that happens when kids stop learning about business and start experiencing it firsthand.🥳

🎤In this session, one of our Junior Business Consultants stepped further into his role by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, seeking clarification, and digging deeper to understand the real challenges a business faces. He learned that great business thinking starts with curiosity and the confidence to ask follow-on questions.

🤝I was especially proud to watch the two Junior Business Consultants collaborate as a team—creating questions together, dividing responsibilities, supporting one another, and gathering meaningful customer and business insights.

What happens when a kid becomes a Junior Business Consultant for a day?🎊🎶🎊
Session 2 of the Achieving Kids Business Challenge Program was just that! 🥳

🔆In this session, one of our young consultants visited MONCOCCO bar & cocina in Estepona, Spain, to conduct a real-world business assessment. He observed customer visibility, ambiance, pricing, seating, customer flow, and the overall experience. Most importantly, he challenged himself to do something that felt uncomfortable: ask hard business questions.🎶

🔆He interviewed the business owner, approached customers for feedback, gathered data, and learned how business decisions are connected to customer experiences. By the end of the session, he felt “more intelligent” because of the questions he had to ask and the critical thinking required throughout the challenge.🤩

🔆One of his biggest takeaways? The power of visibility. He discovered how small details can influence customer decisions and business success.😎
