Why do some of the smartest buyers never like your posts?
I've been researching something interesting recently: lurkers.
Research suggests that up to 90% of social media users never post, comment, or interact publicly.
They just watch.
Which got me thinking...
What if people were all focused the wrong thing all along?
So many business owners I speak to judge their content by likes, comments, shares and followers.
But we are aware that sophisticated buyers often behave very differently.
They tend to comment.
They certainly don't announce every thought publicly.
They instead take their time and research.
They will compare the different options available.
They evaluate what's best for their current circumstances and situations.
They quietly decide whether they feel that someone understands their situation.
Then, one day, they reach out .... When they are ready, when they have time, when they've made the decision that now is a good time 📅 with thier own busy schedule ...
If you've ever had someone say:
💬 "I've been following you for months..."
you already know exactly what I'm talking about.
This is the first video in a new series I'm creating about lurkers, sophisticated buyers, invisible audiences, and why content creates certainty long before it creates leads.
