Mira Caselius
Mira Caselius is a visual artist based in Helsinki, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spatial and Furniture Design and a Fine Arts degree from the Art School MAA. She is doing her Master of Arts’ degree in Visual Cultures, Curating and Contemporary Art (ViCCA) at the Aalto University. Caselius draws and paints with different mediums including ballpoint pen, ink, watercolours and acrylics and also works with spatial art. In Caselius’ works, people and buildings are recurrent themes. She treats human communities and society as weaves or constructions in which everyone is interconnected whether they want it or not and, on the other hand, deep solitude and hard competition. Caselius also works as a graphic designer and co-operates with the Finnish band Elliot’s Crazy Compass. https://www.facebook.com/elliotscrazycompass/
