Today at the American Corner Suva, Bridger delivered Session 9 of our 12-Part Project Management Series: Project Evaluation.

Participants explored how to evaluate projects beyond simply asking “Did we complete it?” — looking instead at results, evidence, learning and what can be improved for future projects.

#004 — RETURN TO THE SOURCE

A thought has been weighing on me since yesterday.

What if, somewhere along the way, humanity became disconnected from its original Source?

I believe we are spirit beings first.

And I believe the original Source is the Word of God.

Not as something we simply read, but something we hear, speak, believe and live from — daily.

Because faith comes by hearing.

So what happens when we consciously return to that Source?

When our thoughts, words and actions begin flowing from a spirit continually fed by the Word of God, rather than being shaped primarily by what we see, hear and experience around us?

And then I wonder…

What if humanity collectively lived this way?

What possibilities have we never experienced because we have never fully restored this connection?

And now we have AI — technology capable of amplifying human thoughts, words, ideas and actions at an unprecedented scale.

Which makes the question even more profound:

What could AI amplify if the human source itself was deeply connected to the Divine Source?

Perhaps the future isn't only about building more powerful AI.

Perhaps it's also about restoring the human being to the original Source.

And maybe we've only begun to imagine what becomes possible from there.

#003 — The Power of Discernment

The more I think about AI, the more I realise that perhaps the greatest human capability we need to strengthen isn't knowing more.

It is discernment.

AI can give us more information.
More perspectives.
More answers.
More possibilities.

But more information doesn't automatically lead to better decisions.

At some point, we still have to ask:

What is true?
What matters?
What should I pay attention to?
What should I question?
And ultimately… what should I do?

That decision remains human.

This is why I see a deeper connection between my first three reflections:

#001 — Source Check Your Thoughts
Where are my thoughts actually coming from?
Am I thinking — or simply absorbing?

#002 — Human-Centred AI Leadership
If AI becomes increasingly capable, what happens when we return our attention to the human being behind the technology?

#003 — The Power of Discernment
If AI gives us more answers, perhaps our deeper responsibility is to become better at knowing which answers deserve our trust.

Maybe the future isn't about humans competing with AI for intelligence.

Maybe it is about humans becoming more intentional about how we use intelligence — artificial and human.

AI can amplify our thinking.

But discernment determines where that thinking takes us.

And perhaps, in an increasingly noisy world, one of the most important leadership skills we can develop is simply learning to pause, listen inwardly, and discern before we act outwardly.

Yesterday, I shared a thought that I've been carrying through my work for some time:

AI is the tool.
The human is the source.

That got me thinking more deeply about a term and growing area of thinking in the AI world:

Human-Centred AI Leadership.

After sharing my post yesterday, I found myself reflecting even more deeply on what this actually means to me.

The term Human-Centred AI is not new. There is already important work, research and thinking happening around it.

So I'm not claiming the term.

What I am beginning to articulate is my own interpretation of what it can mean in practice — particularly through my own experiences, teaching and work in Fiji and the Pacific.

Because I've realised that this is how I've been approaching AI all along.

I don't begin with:

“Here is an AI tool. Let's learn how to use it.”

I begin with:

“What is already inside YOU?”

Your experience.
Your passion.
Your knowledge.
Your gifts.
Your ideas.
Your challenges.
Your vision for your life.

Then we bring AI into the conversation.

AI becomes the sounding board.

You can bounce an idea off it.

Ask questions.

Explore possibilities.

Challenge your assumptions.

Research options.

Discover patterns in your own experience.

Imagine different paths.

And then — importantly — make your own decision.

Because I don't want people leaving my programs simply knowing how to use another AI tool.

I want them leaving with a clearer understanding of:

“What can I do with what I already have?”

That is becoming increasingly important to me.

Perhaps the future isn't simply about becoming better at using AI.

Perhaps it's about becoming more aware of ourselves while using it.

And this is where my thinking around Human-Centred AI Leadership is beginning to develop.

I'm still building it.

I'm still learning from every program, every participant and every conversation.

But I know one thing already:

AI should enhance the human — not erase the human.

It should help us think more deeply.

See more possibilities.

Move from ideas to implementation.

And perhaps, sometimes, even help us find parts of ourselves that we haven't yet had the words to express.

AI is the tool.
You are the source.
Your purpose is the direction.
And what you do with it is the choice.

This is a conversation I'm only beginning to share publicly.

And I think there is much more to explore. ❤️

We’ve learned to fact-check AI.
But do we fact-check our own thoughts? 🤔

Today, during my Project Implementation session — Program 7 of my 12-part Project Management Series — I shared a thought that stopped me for a moment:

AI can give us an answer, but we should always check its source before we trust it.

What if we applied the same principle to our own minds?

Every day, thoughts run through our heads:

“I can’t do this.”
“They probably think…”
“This will never work.”
“I’m not good enough.”
“I have to do it this way.”

But where did that thought come from?

Was it based on truth?
Experience?
Fear?
Someone else's opinion?
An old belief?
A past disappointment?

Just because a thought came from our own mind doesn't automatically make it true.

So today I challenged the participants to SOURCE-CHECK THEIR THOUGHTS.

PAUSE. PARK. TRACE. TEST. CHOOSE.

Pause before reacting.
Park the thought.
Trace where it came from.
Test whether it is actually true.
Then choose what is right for you — not simply what your mind told you first.

We teach people to question AI because AI can hallucinate.

Perhaps we need to remember that our minds can also tell us stories that aren't necessarily true.

So before you act on your next thought, ask yourself:

👉 “What's the source of this thought?”

That one question might change more than how you use AI.

It might change how you lead, how you make decisions — and how you see yourself.

Fact-check AI.
Fact-check your thoughts.
Choose wisely.

And as we continue this journey through the 12-Part Project Management Series, I'm reminded again why implementation matters:

Learning is powerful.
But what we DO with what we learn is where transformation begins.
