I grew up as the national geo or discovery kid. I have noticed throughout my life that I have always been a little more interested in seeing further. Travel allows you to see behind the curtains of humanity. I think that most travelers and photographers are just explorers carrying a box that records that exploration almost like a trophy hunt. We are going out to these places and capturing what we

see and that’s the trophy and I want to push myself further than ever before. I know when I share my images, when people see the things I have experienced as I capture them and frame them it has an impact, whether its more or less of an impact its time documented through a very unique vision. The images can change you, they inspire you and they make you ask more questions. One of the things I love about photography is it makes you slow down and appreciate the moments and focus on the beauty and the diversity of all the different landscapes, people, and compassion that I have had the opportunity to see. Why even go to Sturgis with the risk of death as you drive or picking up a charge.. Be smart just to see half naked girls dancing at the bars. Remember they are paid hourly so tip them if ur going to look at them.
