The continued threats against a Gambian citizen and an Imam for preaching what Allah has said and what the Prophet ﷺ taught are completely unacceptable. The Gambia is a nation governed by the rule of law, and lawlessness must never be tolerated in our beloved country.
We respectfully call on the Gambia Police Force to investigate this matter thoroughly, as it appears to present a credible case for legal action. Everyone residing in The Gambia, including foreign nationals, is expected to respect and abide by the laws of the country. No one should be allowed to intimidate, threaten, or undermine the peace and security guaranteed by our laws.
