Kalo mina style adventurers! 🤍

A special spring shot this month as my photo memories brought up this beauty, taken in the front garden of my parents' house in Sydney Australia on this day, the 1st of September, in 2017.

Jasmine has always been one of my favourite flowers & I was always so excited when this gorgeous climbing vine came into bloom...the scent of course was intoxicating but somehow seeing it overflowing with such wild abandon was the perfect symbol of the abundance of the months to come 🎉

September 1st is also my name day btw so Χρόνια πολλά to all the Athina & Athena's out there!! 🪄🧿🦉🛡

Ok so let's talk pink & dark blue 🪄👚👖👩‍🏫

In style terms, my view is that they balance each other out - the more 'serious' tone stops the pink from being too frivolous & 🧁 the lighter shade pops & draws the eye, which keeps things from getting too sombre ☔️!

A classic colour combo that brings a cool & preppy vibe to any outfit combination...I would say more suited to day than night, but would actually not rule it out for a casual apéro or dinner - especially with some well-chosen accessories! 💙🩷💙

I can almost guarantee you that whenever you see something that makes you go “Oooh!”, chances are you already have something very similar!

Case in point? Yesterday I posted a gorgeous orange cotton sundress from – and yes I have something that’s not too far off – my printed linen sundress by Greek designer 🇬🇷👗🧡

So rather than getting carried away by the colour & being tempted to add to my wardrobe, I took inspiration from the shoot and looked at how I could replicate it using what I’ve got – that’s look 1. Pretty casual, holiday vibes. And I have taken this dress on holiday with me to Croatia, Hervey Bay, Spain & to Crete, where I bought it (on sale) 🌞🌞🌞

In look 2, I tweaked things slightly to create an outfit that’s much more suited to a summer outing back in the city – leather heels, bolder accessories & an embroidered clutch…
