Because why not keep the comforts of travel going, even when you get home...? 👝🧖‍♀️🤎

Spent a delightful afternoon last week exploring the gorgeous old port town of Sète - the Venice of Languedoc apparemment ! - catching up with the talented & having a tour of her studio & latest works 💙

From discovering the many canals, the grandeur of
the art déco glam & contemporary art display
& the eclectic art .art

To fab local foodie spots
& with its traditional tielle sétoise pie (yes a shared octopus obsession here!), ending with a costal walk & apéro chez Sally with her magnificent Med view...I'll be back!!

An update on an iconic design that I'm finding a lot more stylish than the classic version...🖤

Neither suitable for the beach though if you ask me...poolside however could definitely be the go!🪄🩴🛟

The long & the short of it! 🥼☔️

Few wardrobe items are as classic as the trusty trench, and happily I have seen them in every single charity, pre-loved or vintage store I have ever walked into.

What does that mean for us as consumers? Simply put, I'm pretty confident that more than enough trenches have already been made to satisfy our wardrobe essential needs.

So if you need an update or an addition, there's really no need to buy a new one! ♻️😎🤎

And here we are at the final instalment in my three-part series on how to put a killer travel wardrobe together!

Today we’ll be looking at Phase 3: Cull & Adjust 🪚📋🃏

In these last steps, you’ve hopefully had time to think about what needs to go. And once you’ve culled, you can make adjustments, replacing the the punted pieces with ones that will be more appropriate – or leaving the space free to make more room in your suitcase 😉

Now you’re ready to pack! 🥳

📽

I hope you enjoyed this little series – let me know if you had any insights or if there was anything you would do differently – feedback & suggestions are always welcome!

DM me if you’d like to work with me on your own travel capsule – virtually or in-person in Paris – or why not join me on the ground in Crete! Plenty of time to get planning for the 2027 tour...🇬🇷

It was the 90s again on the train down from Paris to Montpellier last week - every second madamemoiselle was sporting a sloppy joe! 🗓🔙

Nothing wrong with that, and I was relieved to see them keeping the style bar high by styling them back with jeans rather than sweatpants or leggings 🙈

Add a belt with some bling & swap out the striped sneakers for some kitten heels, and now you've got yourself some casual glam! ❤️

Time for the next instalment of my three-part series on how to put a killer travel wardrobe together!

Today we’ll be looking at Phase 2: Layout & Marinate 👔👖🩱🩴🩲👑💭

These two next steps are for pulling out what you put on your list in Phase 1 & arranging it somewhere – laying it out flat, or hanging everything up facing you for example.

Once everything is together you’ll be able to see straight away where you have too many of the same thing, are missing another, or if something is a one-hit wonder & won’t be up to multitasking on your trip!

You can make some changes right then and there, but before you even think about putting anything into a travel bag it’s time to let things marinate, at the very least overnight, before you progress to the next phase…🪄💡⏳️

Kalo mina & welcome October style adventurers! The seasons are a-changing 🪄🍁

A month to embark on the unknown, to go back to go forward, and to explore a different path alongside the very familiar.

Funny though how every road you take is somehow designed to bring you full circle & lead you back home...
