🇫🇷 DIX MILLE TOURS 2026 | CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD

🇬🇧 DIX MILLE TOURS 2026 | CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD
Some cars first enter your life through books, magazines, video games or a screen, until they almost stop feeling real.
Then one day, they are right in front of you.
A Gulf Porsche 917 K comes towards you. A Ford GT40 fires up a few metres away. A Ferrari 512 M moves through the paddock. Then come the Viper GTS-R, Ferrari 575 GTC, Shelby GT350, the last F1 Benetton, and so many of the machines that fuelled a childhood fascination with motor racing.
That is what made this year’s Dix Mille Tours particularly special for me.
Beyond the photography, there were moments when the photographer disappeared for a few seconds and the kid took over again.
Seeing these cars is already something special.
Hearing them start, feeling the vibration, watching them brake, slide, spit flames and, above all, photographing them still being driven at racing speed, is something else entirely.
Some of these machines helped write the history of Le Mans, Daytona, World Championship racing and GT competition. They are not sitting silently behind ropes in a museum.
They are still racing.
And perhaps that is what makes events like the Dix Mille Tours so extraordinary: for one weekend, machines that once existed only in childhood dreams become real again.
Here are a few of those moments.
