We are delighted to invite you to join the IBNS Mosaic Chapter of the International Bank Note Society at the 49th Numismatic Exhibition in Strasbourg, organized by the Numismatic Union of Alsace.

📅 Sunday, February 22, 2026

📍 Location: Pavillon Joséphine, parc de l’Orangerie, Avenue de l’Europe, 67000 Strasbourg

This exhibition is more than an event — it is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and strengthen our IBNS community. As one of the first IBNS gatherings in France in recent years, this meeting has special significance, and we would be truly proud to see strong member participation.

🇺🇦 Important Update on Ukrainian Hryvnia

Starting March 2, 2026, banknotes of 1, 2, 5 and 10 hryvnias (2003–2007 series) will be officially replaced by circulation coins.

From this date, these banknotes will no longer be accepted for cash payments and will be withdrawn from circulation.

💱 Exchange is free of charge:
• At all Ukrainian banks — until February 26, 2027
• At authorized banks (Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Raiffeisen Bank, PUMB) — until February 28, 2029
• At the National Bank of Ukraine — currently without time limit

ℹ️ The change aims to improve cash quality and reduce costs, as coins last much longer (20–25 years) than banknotes.
