✍ Creative Workshops Day 🎨
Sunday 14th of JUNE, 10am to 5pm
Location: TREIGNAT, near Boussac
Who it's for: Anyone
Price: 20€ for up to 3 workshops (with 6€ surcharge, for just one of the options)
There will be a range of creative workshops all around 1.5hrs.
I'm doing two workshops in the afternoon - how to make a wire dragonfly, and how to create a wire dragon bookmark and there are lots of other workshops, including watercolours, writing for beginners, hand-sewing, wax-scented decorations, creative mentoring, a creative session, printmaking and more. (Some of them are already fully booked! - be quick!)
Come and enjoy a lovely day out amongst like-minded people. There will be a pop-up café on site - sandwiches, cakes, and drinks. We will also have a pop-up creative shop showcasing the creations of our members.

I'm so excited for Novice to Novelist and Vicky Eveleigh for the upcoming launch of her novel, "Perchance to Dream".

www.itsokwespeakenglish.com is a business directory website for central and south west France (with a view to expanding soon)... it's here because there are a lot of folk either resident full or part-time that are not confident contacting businesses in French.
There are businesses of all sorts with full web pages and all contact details - from builders to accommodation. I'm on there as a graphic designer, and Novice to Novelist is on there as Book editing and Writing services.

For this project, my client had already conceived the design, but needed me to make it so it could be used as a product label. After discussion two elements were removed as the label was very small.

DIGITAL ART is not AI !
Here is a dog portrait I did, taken from a photo (left) - it was recreated (right), printed onto a box canvas and gifted to a very dear friend of mine on her retirement.

Digital art is created in a similar way to traditional art - except my brush or pen is connected to a drawing tablet. Instead of real paints and canvas, it is on screen - using either Photoshop or Illustrator (or both). Every mark is created by hand, using a stylus on the tablet. Hours and hours of work go in to each piece.
