But they may walk, sniff and lick it every day!
Many councils still use pesticides in parks, pavements and public green spaces. The most commonly used is glyphosate which has been linked to certain cancers in dogs. Exposure for dogs can happen every day. They walk on treated grass, sniff sprayed areas and lick their paws. Rain can also wash residues into puddles and onto muddy ground where dogs love to explore. We believe our parks should be safe for children, dogs and all wildlife. It is time that all councils moved towards a pesticide free alternative!

How many chemicals do you put on your skin every day. In 2004, the average woman was estimated to use around 9
Personal care products per day. This number has risen dramatically, make up alone we have so many new products to incorporate into our routine, primer, setting spray, highlighters. Studies are showing that women now use an average of 27 cosmetic products per day. So that maybe more than 200 ingredients which will likely include parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, oxybenzone and more… these chemicals may interfere with the body’s hormones and be linked to endocrine disruption.

Choosing certified organic cosmetics can help reduce exposure to many of these toxic ingredients. Would you put 100 chemicals into your morning smoothie?

Chocolate is quietly changing.

Rising cocoa prices and mass production are pushing brands toward reformulation, added ingredients and more processing.

Not all chocolate is what it once was.

This is where organic matters.

Organic chocolate stays closer to its roots — real cocoa, fewer additives, and greater transparency from bean to bar.

In a world of ultra-processed food, choosing organic is choosing simplicity.

Bees need water too. 🐝

A bowl. Fresh water. A few marbles.
That’s all it takes to create a safe place for them to land and drink.

Small change. Big difference.

Conventionally grown strawberries are often one of the most heavily sprayed fruits.

In UK testing, strawberries were found to be among the worst offenders for pesticide residues, with some reports showing up to 95% of samples containing PFAS pesticides — often called “forever chemicals” because they linger in the environment and in our bodies.

Across Europe, some strawberry samples were found with residues of up to 19 different pesticides on a single fruit sample.

Why so many?
Because strawberries have delicate skin, grow close to the ground, and are vulnerable to mould, insects, and disease—meaning they are often treated repeatedly during growing.

Why choose organic? 🌱
✔ No synthetic pesticides
✔ No glyphosate spraying
✔ Better for pollinators like bees
✔ Kinder to soil and waterways
✔ Less chemical exposure for you and your family

You can wash strawberries, but washing doesn’t remove everything—especially when residues are inside the fruit, not just on the surface.

So when it comes to strawberries, organic really is worth it.

In the UK, spring is more than a season — it is nature’s most powerful reminder that renewal begins from the ground up.

This is the moment when organic truly matters.

As the soil begins to warm, British farms, gardens, orchards and hedgerows awaken without the interference of synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilisers. The result? Healthier soil, stronger biodiversity, and the return of the pollinators that make our food system possible.

Spring is when bees emerge and begin their essential work among blossom trees, wildflowers, herbs and early crops. In organic landscapes, these ecosystems are protected, giving nature the safe space it needs to thrive.

It is also the season of the first fresh harvests — peppery rocket, tender spinach, asparagus, spring onions, rhubarb and fragrant herbs — foods that feel lighter, brighter and deeply connected to the rhythms of the British countryside.

Choosing organic in spring means supporting farming that works with the season, not against it.
It means celebrating what naturally grows now.
It means eating, living and slowing down in tune with the earth.

Because nowhere feels more hopeful than a British spring lived organically.

Today, on International Day of Happiness, we’re reminded that true joy isn’t something we chase — it’s something we cultivate.

It lives in slower mornings.
In food grown with care.
In skin nourished, not stripped.
In choosing less… but better.

Because happiness isn’t found in excess —
it’s found in alignment.

With nature.
With intention.
With yourself.

Organic living isn’t just a lifestyle —
it’s a return to what feels real.

And that’s where happiness begins.

✨ Today, choose one small organic shift
Because the simplest choices often create the deepest joy.
