Last month, we were proud to host the Downlands Charity Clay Challenge 2026 alongside Downlands Estate - an unforgettable day of sport, hospitality and fundraising in support of Starlight Children's Foundation - UK 💚

Guests took to the estate for an action-packed morning of clay pigeon shooting, with fantastic targets from Barbury Shooting and wild meat elevenses courtesy of Eat Wild along the way. After the final shots were fired, guests gathered for drinks from Gusbourne in the Deer Park, before sitting down to a three-course luncheon (complete with chefs hats for our carvers) from Top Nosh Cuisine

The afternoon culminated in a thrilling charity auction led by Dylan Williams, raising vital funds for Starlight and the extraordinary work they do for seriously ill children, before guests were treated to traditional ice creams for their journey home🍦

A huge thank you to our wonderful suppliers, supporters, auction donors and guests who helped make the day such a success. It was a joy for Wilde & Glorious to bring it all together — and an incredibly special day for a very worthy cause.

A sold out celebration of countryside and community🌿

On Saturday we were delighted to welcome ladies to the sold out Wilde & Glorious X SWATCOM Ladies Cup at Barbury Shooting School for a day packed with friendly competition, fantastic food and plenty of laughter, all while raising funds for the incredible ladies’ cancer charity, CoppaFeel!

A huge thank you to Keith Foote, Charlie Foote and the entire SWATCOM team for their incredible support, and to Huw and everyone at Barbury Shooting School for once again providing the perfect setting for a brilliant day.

At the drinks reception sponsored by Gilbertson & Page guests enjoyed cocktails from our friends at Ikoyi Chapmans, delicious Kaleb Cooper beef and venison burgers and pheasant selects from WildBoyz, refreshing Cornish ice cream and, of course, the ever-popular Wilde & Glorious sweet table.

A special thank you to our fantastic exhibitors – TWELVEBORE, On The Peg Pursuits, Calibre Leather, BASC and SWATCOM – for showcasing their brands and helping to create such a vibrant event village for our guests to enjoy throughout the day.

To all of our incredible sponsors, thank you for your continued support, and to every lady who has joined us at one of our Ladies Cup events this year – thank you for making these days so memorable.

The Ladies Cups will return with a few changes in 2027, with an even greater focus on bringing women together, building a community rooted in kindness and celebrating rural life.

We can’t wait to share what’s in store.

The Inaugural Racing Clay Challenge in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund 🐎

Hosted by Barbury Shooting School with planning by Wilde & Glorious and set against the backdrop of Ramsbury Estate, Wiltshire, guests enjoyed a day that combined competitive clay shooting, outstanding hospitality and fundraising, all in aid of a charity that provides vital support to injured jockeys and their families.

Teams were treated to four challenging and varied drives expertly set by Huw Stephens and Josh Brown, followed by an afternoon of entertainment in the Ramsbury barn, with a delicious luncheon provided by the Top Nosh team.

An engaging Q&A session with champion jockeys Jim Crowley and Charlie Deutsch followed, led by Racing Presenter Rosie Tapner. The day concluded with a lively auction conducted by Tim Kent of Goffs, whose expert and entertaining stewardship helped drive bidding throughout the room.

We are incredibly grateful to Champagne Pommery for generously providing the prizes, adding a touch of celebration to a memorable occasion.

Bringing together a shared passion for iconic cars and clay shooting, the day promises outstanding hospitality, thrilling shooting and unforgettable experiences in a truly world-class setting.

Organised in partnership with Barbury Shooting School and held at the stunning Ramsbury Estate in the heart of Wiltshire, this event will bring together the worlds of shooting and horse racing to raise funds for this wonderful cause.
