🌸I have been so worried while I have been pregnant, I completely lost myself, I lost any energy for anything other than the basics needs of myself and my family. Being a small business owner that relies on creativity was getting me down a bit. Thankfully I have a great family around me that kept reminding me that my mind is busy creating something pretty epic!!

💕And here I am again, despite nighttime disruptions I am full of energy and already feeling my creativity coming back, so much so, whenever little Blossom has a nap on me I'm straight to the ipad for some drawing and messing!

🎀🌸Pretty Goose has had a little Gosling🌸🎀

💗A few months ago I told you I was working on something pretty special that was taking up all my creative energy... well here she is!!💗

🌸This little beauty is 2 weeks old tomorrow and the last 9 months have been hard work. I've had just about enough energy to look after the other 3 goslings and keep on top of basic jobs in the house! But she is totally worth it!🌸

🎀So I want to say thank you to everyone who has kept Pretty Goose ticking over the last few months, I haven't brought out much new but I promise I have lots of new ideas and hopefully over the next few months I will finally have the energy to get going with them!🎀

💗The older kids are off now for 2 weeks for Easter holidays so I'm going to soak that up and enjoy our time together, but I just wanted to share our news before you thought I'd disappeared forever!💗

🎀🌸World Book Day🌸🎀

🎀A book to some people is just a story, but to most of us here, it's a exploration of our imaginations, seeing how far we can push it. Experiencing worlds that we can't jump on a plane to find. Escaping reality which can sometimes be driving us crazy, but once we step into that world, and are back with those characters it all just fizzles away and there we are in our very own story where anything can happen!

💗Every day is a book day in our house! Percy is 5 so he's just learning to read, so this is our special time together just us two. Violet loves Lottie Brooks so much she's reading them a second time round, and Norah is almost finished with the first of the Harry Potter Books!💗

🌸My work is books, I love everything about making the outside of these books as beautiful as the stories in them!🌸

🌸We've nearly done it! In just a couple of weeks the evenings will be bright, the birds will be chirping, the skies will be blue!🌸

🎀This Jan/Feb has felt even more so dreary because of the lack of Winter sun, but it's right around the corner. Dreaming of days in the garden with my summer reads and a cold drink and the Sun beating down, or even occasionally behind the odd cloud, I'm not fussy!!

🌺My new Lilly design is finally complete and I chose to do them for my Windy City series I got for Christmas!🌺

🎀I only have the UK size for these currently. But a customised option is available on these and I will also be putting on the website a similar customisable option with 10 colour choices, very soon!!🎀
