But what does it all mean?
To me, branding and artwork work best when the audience has to dig a little deeper into the meaning of a piece of work, and for this work I decided to use a lyric from the munclemusic track, ‘Cream & Jam’.
With the lyrics being ‘probably once a day, I wanna burn this house to the ground’, I decided to take a trip back to the 50s & 60s matchbox designs, using a bold yet illustrative theme with some strong type. As an alternative band, this fits perfectly with their aesthetic, so much so, that it’s now part of the t-shirt merchandise sold at shows.
