🍸 The joy of working on a game like Alone in the Dark is finding creative ways to reflect the tone of the game. The two lead characters, Emily and Edward, both enjoy a cocktail, so we invented our own drinks as a social asset.

🍹 Not only did we make beautifully-designed static assets that feel straight out of Louisiana speakeasy, but we even shot a step-by-step video guide for anyone keen to try Edward’s Sinking Sidecar or Emily’s Perique Old Fashioned.

📝 The layered story of Alone In The Dark allowed us to create playful, narratively-rich social assets digging into the history and motivations of key characters. These included lavish, in-world posts designed and formatted for multiple outlets, including PS News.

🎸 We were also commissioned by THQ Nordic to create a music video for Alone in the Dark. This meant recording an original arrangement of House of the Rising Sun, composed and performed by Lauren Vandike and Tom Peay, and creating a visual treatment to go with it.

🎤 The THQ Nordic team were so pleased with the results they patched the video of our recording, Darkest Sun Blues, into the game itself.

💡 We had the pleasure of working with THQ Nordic promoting Alone in the Dark, the modern reimagining of the influential horror classic.

🗓️ We created some functional, beautiful countdown assets to accompany the release of the game, again designed for multiple platforms. These were particularly effective on PS News, where buzz around the imminent release of the game provided potential buyers with a direct link to the point of purchase.

🎉 That's it from Reach for 2024!

It's been a whirlwind of a year - we've worked with some amazing people and produced video, social and design work we’re immensely proud of but also said painful goodbyes to talented friends.

So as we pause and reflect on the last 12 months we want to acknowledge and thank all the brilliant people who make what we do possible: our supportive friends across the game and entertainment industries, the wonderful clients and creative partners we’re privileged to work with every day, and most of all to our fantastic team past and present who make turning up to work every day such a joy.

🎄 Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, we hope you all enjoy a restful, peaceful and merry Christmas.

Look at all these lovely faces from our Christmas party this year 🥰😍 It was so nice to get together after a rollercoaster of a year for us. We sang our hearts out on karaoke, got incredibly competetive in a general knowledge quiz, and exchanged some wonderful and thoughtful Secret Santa gifts. 🎅🏻

Thank you to Reboot, Bath for hosting such a fun night for us all!

All of us here at are very excited for 2025, and we can't wait to bring you along for the ride.
