Last night, Sommers Waste Solutions was honoured to receive the Silver Award for Sustainability at the prestigious SME Business Awards 2026.

Several members of the SWS team attended the awards evening, enjoying the opportunity to network with fellow businesses from across the region and celebrate the achievements of organisations making a positive impact in their industries.

Winning this award is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainable waste management practices, environmental responsibility, and helping our customers reduce their environmental footprint.

In February, our Sales & Marketing Executive Simon Mortimer attended Luton Sixth Form College for National Apprenticeship Week.

With SWS based in Luton, it was a great opportunity to connect with local students and discuss careers within the waste industry. We are proud to support the next generation and showcase the opportunities available within our sector.
